BN Bytes: Nigerian Music – The World is Listening – ‘Don Jazzy, Naeto C & 2face Making Waves The World Over’

If there was any doubt at all, when 2face Idibia won the first ever EMA (Europe MTV Award) for any African Artiste, that the world was listening to Nigeria; the last week in the Nigerian entertainment has wiped that off.
Only last week, the Nigerian web space was abuzz with the news of the record deal between Mo’hits pioneers and Kanye West‘s G.O.O.D Music. Even though as of now, there has still been no official statement from the G.O.O.D Music camp; Don Jazzy and D’banj confirmed via their twitter accounts that a contract has been put to ink between both entities.
And then on Sunday, Akon, on his twitter page announced a collaboration between himself and 2Face Idibia. As if to clear any doubt, he posted pictures of himself and 2face together.
Again on Tuesday this week, Naeto C, seemingly from nowhere, and shot to the No. 2 position on BillBoard.com‘s Next Big Sound 25 chart.
Who knows what’s next? Possibly a Goldie-Lagy Gaga collaboration?
