With majority of the songs for Jesse Jagz‘s sophomore album ready to go. Chocolate City has released the first single off the yet-to-be-named album – Las Gidi Grinding. It is apparent that the super producer is adopting a different sound to his music.

Nice hook-minus all the ‘grinding’ repetition tho. Not sure bout the rap too -but the 2nd verse is cool. Ok effort, expecting more creativity Mr. Abaga. I’m sure u can do better than a hook that says “I’m grinding” cos i’ve heard that a million times already!

He’s one heck of a poet, this Jesse Jagz character – I like his play on the grind word, I wonder if it’ll work the intended magic.
Since he may actually read this, let me say THANKS JESSE, cos blasting Jag of all Trades for like a month on my driving commute not only kept me sane and happy, but also inspired my writing big time. Love you man.
Why they got to photograph Ojota bus stop for the promo (phew, they didn’t catch me with the lens trained on MY beloved BRT station)
