Simple and elegant, though I’d rather Victorian lace detail on a wedding dress.

Mai should be looking at this! While all are not what i would want to wear for a wedding, one can see the skill and clean cuts of this designer. Mai should please go to back to design school

Very niceeeee!!!! Tube gowns with a difference. Thats whats up

    • T August 9, 2011 at 10:07 AM

@THE AMAKA, I am wondering what you mean by the statement (dnt wanna make conclusions)…wondering
By the way, your comments have been off point these days..I always liked your comments but now…nt so sure. Is someone else using your Id?

    • THE AMAKA August 9, 2011 at 12:29 PM

@ T, it sure is me. the thing is what does this designer have to do with Naija? isnt this website for Nigerians/Africans?
and as sade pointed out, where are the black models? and to also address “yeye” (what a perfect name) it DOES matter. it is obvious she does not cater to the black market nor does she care if black women will buy her gowns or not. when a designer uses certain models, it is always to appeal to a certain market.
so again, what is she doing on bella NAIJA?

    • yeye August 9, 2011 at 1:45 PM

@the amaka, wat has my name got 2 do wit anytin,I’m goin to say dis again, stick to the important tins madam!

    • T August 9, 2011 at 3:34 PM

@ THE AMAKA but when Bella naija put up pictures of the royal wedding didn’t we all ooooohhhhh and ahhhhhhhh? Including you? what relationship does Prince Williams have with Nigeria? Except we gaining independence from them and perhaps, UK is highly populated by Nigerians…..?again, Just wondering…btw, yeye might not be pronounced yeye(as in rubbish) it could be the yoruba yeye as in small madam…my grandma calls me that too….tsk tsk!!!

    • THE AMAKA August 9, 2011 at 4:28 PM

@ T, ooooooohhhhh and ahhhhhhhh? not me, because i could care less about the royal wedding. you can even go back to that post and see my comment and read the sarcasm in it. LOL again, what does that have to do with us? and the only reason why i guess she would post it is because they are royalty, it was sorta like a worldwide event. but again, what does this designer have to do with us?
and in this case, i read yeye as…..you know the rest!

@The Amaka, I think you are being unnecessarily rude, you can interpret the name anyhow you lik…it only shows your level of reasoning, shikena!

    • igbofille August 10, 2011 at 12:17 PM

I dont think the aggression over black and white should still exist on trivial issues like this. When we start accepting others the world will be a better place. The gowns are neatly done! simple, whether the designer is white, black or red I don’t care all I know is quality speaks.

      • THE AMAKA August 10, 2011 at 5:41 PM

yeah keep telling yourself that. when black models audition for these shows and the designer picks none of them or he is only looking for one black model, then come and tell me that again. it seems some of you dont know the fashion industry and how hard it is for people of color to get work. i wish those designers had the same mentality that you have, but sadly, they dont.

        • Nike August 23, 2011 at 3:49 PM

@Amaka I understand your frustration but rather than attacking people on this forum, it is the people who patronize such designers that should be attacked. As long as we still have ignorant, money miss road Africans who continue to patronize these racist designers rather than patronizing their own people, we will continue to get the treatment we deserve

    • MaryKay August 10, 2011 at 12:50 PM

Nice…….simple and nice, but what i love most is the Fabric and love the cut (how it fits to the body shape)…YEAH MAI should take note, if you are not original that fine (a lot of designers are not) but get the Fabric and Fit on point.

    • rosyslim. August 22, 2011 at 4:07 PM

Well for me, i think the dresses are simply splendid! they re nicely cut and neatly sown.

    • MYFAIRYTALE November 6, 2011 at 6:22 PM

i just got some ideas for my wedding dress here.Dont really care who designed them but am sure gonna put pieces together from these lovely gowns and come up with mine.
