Designer Jennifer Adighije‘s fashion label House of Silk made its Arise Magazine Fashion Week debut on Saturday. How did the brand fare on the big stage? You decide.
House of Silk flourished especially with their signature flowy pieces, our fave was the shimmery animal print finale dress.

Okay another set I’m impressed by
…. I’m not really sure it flows as a collection but these are well cut and wearable
Omg! Thats tiffany from britain and irelands next top model! She looks hot on the runway! Nice clothes btw
omgg yhhhh it is!!!!!
Hmmmmm
How come the designer’s outfit when she came onstage seems to be the best out of all the pics? Hmmm,….
Hmmm! I remember Jennifer Adighije…..she was ma senior back in FGGC sagamu. Kudos girl!
My 2nd best after Fatima’s. Glam!
2mny elemnts4 a collection. Tooo lousy aswell. Nt aa matured deesigner
abuja big girl jennifer turn desighner na wha oh i shall say norin to this she try shaaa
Very tasteful
@jessi….i agree with u, dis to me doesn’t flow as a collection but they are all nice individual pieces.
I LOOOVE that her designs are very eclectic. I adore the fabrics. Nicely cut out pieces and absolutely wearable.
The sequined dress with the cape, and the pink fluff (almost like wearing cotton candy) are my favs…
not sure
Me love the pieces
Gorgeous designs. The collection does lack cohesiveness. I see a bit of spring, a little couture, and some fall looks all in one collection. She may have had a lot of ideas she wanted to execute all at once probably. Besides that, I love her designs. Really brilliant and original

Na wa! D word original is bin misused. They will use original for jbl, still use it for this collection?hmmmm
lmao
absolutelyy gorgeouss. i see myself wearing them all
Aww Jenn well done.. i love them all. This seems to be my favourite so far.
Nice one House of silk ! Sure by d time u do this again ull
i love the ankara mini flare dress wiv chantilly lace..
Jenniferrrrrrr…..u are teew much.. Your dress is gorgeouss.!!!!!!!.
Is she wearing an Aurelia Ejiro Amos Tafiri dress? Looks so much like it oooo
i really dont know!
Buahahahahaha. Once I saw the first picture with a bathing suit, right? I knew it was downhill from there. The bottom is so ill fitting, it makes the model look like she’s wearing a nappy. The few decent pieces may as well be ready to wear purchased somewhere else. Wharamess!
i saw this show in person and im glad i did. The dresses look much lovelier on tthe runway. Very well cut, finished and well fitting. The desiginer did a good job to me. kudos.!!!!
I LOVE THEM ALL, THE JUMPSUIT, TIERED SKIRT ARE MY FAVS
The stylist could have done better i terms of the running order…The bikini looks stunning..!!!
I LIKE JENNY’S STUFF… WELDONE..!!!!
For a first timer at arise she did a good job, i really like some of the pieces particularly the animal print toga the last pic altho the sparkly mini with a cape also loos nice and refreshing, id love to see the short gold dresses in my wardrobe..!!!!
well..beautiful but not original. but overall its okay.
I can see she put a lot of effort into this, I like the over all feel, though I’m not too sure about the billowing fabric on some of the dresses… All the same, good job!
Nice designs.

its all over the place. No theme
I love. All the pieces individually. Theme or no theme.
tHe sequin dress with the cape is breadthtaking the model looks like a candy I love it meeehhn some of the others I would not mind having I like the fact that she still kept an african touch in some of the dresses not going overly western with funny cuts and wierd designs these are nice comfotable and weareable. She did a good job. t
she has the technique but TBH this is lots of tacky. I wish she could tame it coz her skill is great
Aaaw. Was nice to watch this show. Loved it
Its good to leave constructive feedback that builds and doesn’t tear someone down. I praise most of our fashion designers for producing what they do without core fashion design education. A compariosn with establised formally trained designers who are fortunate to live in socities where creativity and artistic individuality is encouraged from childhood through to adulthood- is high praise indeed for our designers who exsist in a space where this isn’t the case. Theme or not, this shows growth- that’s only come from experience.
this designer is a pretty woman, that’s all i have to say
Well said stacey cos I don’t understand why nigerians are such critics. I v watched jenn grow a whole lot and this collection rocks !!!! Iv ordered some of the dresses already
Very pretty collection *and an even more pretty designer she would make anyone want to wear her dressesv

Can I get the details of the designer please I want d ankara cinderella dress wiv the false colar I can see myself rcking this for my graduatiostian loubutins. Tewww mad !!!
Well done jenny ..
Nice individual pieces but she can create a collection from almost each piece….. she should build on each of them…. she’s quite creative and has potential…. well done house of silk
