It’s great news for expecting mothers. Moma Clothing Limited has launched its maternity line. In October 2012, the brand opened its flagship store at 84 Ozumba Mbadiwe, Victoria Island, Lagos. MOMA is 100% Nigerian owned company inspired by experiencing first hand the frustration of getting the right kind of maternity wear for the office!
So you don’t have to worry about finding that perfect dress to suit you as you’re glowing nicely in pregnancy. Moma’s got you covered.

MOMA’s desire is to make the woman look trendy and professional during her pregnancy months in the office and even after that. With outfits ranging from Tops, Shirts, skirts and jackets.
MOMA also aims to suit the personal style, appropriate for your weather, and office environment. They also ensure that the clothes are made of high quality fabric, comfortable and yet beautiful all at once!
One of the founding partners said, “The biggest challenge we faced during pregnancy was to look good, sophisticated and professional as we looked just before taking in, during our pregnancy months in the office. Being working women and at the peak of our career, finding a nice outfit for a meeting or engagement was always a nightmare. Most times, we had to order online or overseas and probably get the clothes after we had grown bigger than them”

did they really brandish Champagne @ a maternity wear line unveiling? Naija i bow. Its good they found a niche market though. they should do brisk bizness.
My dear I noticed it too Oh! and I shudder at no one had a common sense to point that out! that’s it, everything in Naija is always made for a status symbol even if it totally doesn’t fit the match
There’s nothing wrong with little wine even for pregnant women
I doubt if you have gotten pregnant before, definitely not speaking from experience
Refering to Ire Nuga.
Thanks for the comment…Champange was for the non Pregnant ones @the event (like the daddies)….:)!
Rock your bump with moma…..i like : ).
Thought of Moma .. styling for the working Pre -Maternity & post Maternity .. is amazing .
Styles and clrs has been well designed thinking in mind for the Working mothers .. for all occasions .. Formal wear – Trousers , Skirts & jackets , little dressy for the party , Evening Wear .
Fittings and fabric has been selected keeping all points in consideration for the going to be mom .
The fabrics selected are for pre mother and post mother ..
Its a beautiful collection of styles .. where would be mom will be happy to wear them …..
I beg to differ! because some of the Fabric i’m seeing here such as Nylon, Rayon and Polyester are certainly not pregnancy friendly under the heat of Nigerian weather. Not a good idea, at all!
cotton would have been more suitable
We have a lot of cotton shirts and dresses please check the website. The Polynith lycra fabris chosen are preganacy friendly they have the ability to grow with the tummy and can also com in handy post pregnancy. Also note that the count of the fabric was taken into account, the polynith Fabric used has a lesser weight that those used in Colder countries.
where are we to submit the pictures to?

Nice one by Moma, really hard getting appropriate maternity wear in Nigeria as there are very few shops available. Thumbs up to Moma!
Wow ! Lovely outfit by Moma , i feel so happy seeing such outfit for the prego ladies now in 9ja . WellDone Moma !!!
Have visited the store. Was surprised and impressed by the quality of the designs and finished garments. And to think the clothing is all designed here in Nigeria and produced for our market. Big ups to the entire team at MOMA!! I’m not pregnant but am already planning a shopping spree at MOMA next weekend for clothing to wear just as I am. That’s how cool the designs are. Good to know that when I do get pregnant, there’s a one-stop-shop for all the things I’ll need bc it’s not just maternity clothing that MOMA does but baby clothes and breast pads and lots of other things to help with the period of pregnancy. Once again, a sterling effort by a nigerian to give us something we’ve had to go abroad in the past to get. Well done MOMA!
