Ahh! Just the perfect thing i need for my kitchen. Getting my own place for the first time ever. Working full time, while taking professional classes in the evenings. I have only weekends to cook for the whole week; cooking my favorite meal; beans and plantain will not be possible after a long day. Nothing will make my new year as much as having a microwave I can use every day to heat up my special Debbie’s beans and plantain after a long day work. Trust me a plate of my special meal can make anyone’s week.

As a mother of two kids, i’m always busy doing a lot of
things at ones, this microwave will help ease my stress of having
to cook every time for my kids who doesnt like to eat at the same
time. I can just make their meal at ones and warm it for them in
the microwave when they are ready to eat it

  • eseleh theresa December 26, 2013 at 1:20 pm

It will definitely make things easier and faster in the
kitchen this, especially when wanting to re heat leftovers also to
defrost other than having to put the stove on every time!

  • Ifeoluwa December 26, 2013 at 1:33 pm

As a student this microwave will help save me much needed
time, instead of coming back from class late at night to start
warming my food all I need to do is just to heat it up in my
microwave. It does saves time, I’ve been saving up for one since,
guess if I win it, my 2013 will be complete. Ps:am not famzing
century but their products rock.i have a stabilizer that I have
been using for four years now.

The Century microwave would be everything I need and I’m
sure of it. Living in a house with three little children in school
it’s practically impossible to cook everyday, so meals need to be
made during the weekend and heated and reheated. What better
microwave to use than one that I’m confident is durable while
adding to the beauty of our kitchen. Let’s forget about the kids
for now, I would love to say, I love to cook but it’s not one of my
greatest hobbies so I’m basically constantly in need of a reliable
oven (to make quick meals, heat packed or canned meals etc), you’ll
be doing me a huge favour, as well as my elder sister who’s an
extremely busy career woman and as such has almost no time to
prepare meals often, for the three little ones and hubby. I could
give you a ton of reasons but I won’t, just be rest assured that
I’m most deserving of your Century 23 L-B microwave and would
spread the word of just how amazing (I already know) it is once its
mine. Just did a little research and all you guys would be giving
me the best New Year’s gift if you “bless” me with your microwave!

Waoh!! For me, I can just begin to imagine how having the
century microwave in my kitchen could ease my life. I work
practically 24/7 and I have five mouths to feed, aside my biggest
babe- hubby. Before, Century Microwave, that means, I have to start
cooking from the scratch, stuffs, I can pop in the microwave. It
would mean that I get to spend more time with the crew, as opposed
to sweating in the kitchen. This year, as opposed to other years, I
decided not to do so much cooking, ‘cos, I was tired and just
wanted to rest, not spend the whole day in the kitchen and washing
ups. Yeah, washing up after the microwave is easier and I could try
some interesting recipes that I have seen online, that a microwave
would just be the answer. What else? *scratch head* I just want the
    Century Microwave!!!

  • Taiwo Kehinde Tola December 26, 2013 at 1:46 pm

Waoh!!! Having my own microwave will be fun.I will start my
day with my microwave by heating a fast food before going out to my
friend’s place. Also I won’t be late to attend lectures because all
I need to do is to re-heat the left over food.A microwave is the
best home appliance to start a day with and also an appliance which
    all students needs.

  • Emy December 26, 2013 at 1:51 pm

Ahh! BN your home girl needs this microwave badly o, my
bobo’s kitchen must make sense o cos we are getting married soon.
Yels! We are. If una like make una insult me. But on a more serious

microwave na to warm things at our own convinience wen light dey n
wen we use our small generator. BN pls help a sista!

  • meg December 26, 2013 at 2:06 pm

Ah i need this micro-wave badly cos I live alone and I work
from 8am- 5pm. I often get home late cos of traffic and all tired
out, most times I end up taking snacks to bed cos I hardly have the
energy to bring out my frozen food and start heating it up on a
cooker. It will really help me alot. Thank you.

  • Enita Akpojevwe December 26, 2013 at 2:12 pm

BellaNaija, I have a busy schedule and I love to cook sha ,
it’s always painstaking for me to warm up my food from the freezer
between the waiting time for defrosting and actual warming it up. A
real kill joy. Anyways, would really love to have this in my
kitchen. May the best person win :-)

  • Austino Da Whizchap! December 26, 2013 at 2:18 pm

Dear Bella Naija, I so much love your readers, not selfish
or greedy at all. Wishing for the best Man to win, because they
have one already. Pretty commendable. As for me, I so need one. The
Century 23L-B Microwave will have add to my kitchen this season in
these three ways: 1. Add beauty to my white tiled kitchen walls.
Simply splendid. 2. Reduce the rate and frequency at which I cook
or use the gas cooker. 3. Lastly, sure not going to last only for
this season, but many seasons to come…why? Because its a Century
product…meaning its going to last centuries. Best
    regards!

  • Nwosa seun December 26, 2013 at 2:21 pm

It will be a great wedding gift.

  • Nancy December 26, 2013 at 2:34 pm

It would really help a lot in my house,I’m my mum’s only
daughter so when ever I’m in school cooking is stressful for her.
I’ll love to win this for her so dat when I resume school,d stress
of cooking would be off her shoulder a little. Thank u

  • Chiamaka Daisy December 26, 2013 at 2:37 pm

It would really help my Dad reduce his hunger for fried
chicken, which is bad for his health. The old microwave is bad
which means we get to fry everything before he eats it, and that’s
not healthy. Using a Microwave to roa chicken n turkey a bit could
go a long way to help. P.s I’ve never gotten anything from
Bellanaija, even though I’m addicted to the site

i would love to have the century microwave cause it never
goes out of style for sharp sharp food when you have brothers wif
stomachs as barrels at least with pressing few buttons,in a few
minutes repas est pret!but jokes apart i would like to have it so i
too can promote a brand that its major goal is to cater for
    family

  • Omoja Francisca December 26, 2013 at 3:18 pm

Wow! The wonders a microwave would do in my kitchen this
season as well as every other day in order for me to save time and
cost. And I would be able to carry out some minor pastry baking. It
would really be awesome to win this microwave.

  • emmanuel blessing December 26, 2013 at 4:40 pm

I pretty much just use mine to reheat things, waoh! It will save me the stress of frying my chickens I will rather grill it. I will make my pap and custard and also cook my noodles…

  • Sabio Raph December 26, 2013 at 5:03 pm

What a sub! Something of such will be one of my priority for 2014, regardless the expenses. As a student, refrigerating food stuffs is not satisfactory to some extent due to early morning lectures and warming for breakfast. Which I’m getting fedup of, hopefully this will be a good try.*winks

  • Eve82 December 26, 2013 at 6:15 pm

I’m confused…is microwave for cooking or reheating food??? Make una no burn down the house ooooo!

P/s IMO, it is not advisable to use microwave to reheat food. BN post my comment ooooo!

  • Mzm December 26, 2013 at 9:43 pm

This would come in very handy for me. I’m going to resume
for youth service at my PPA in a state that’s at least 4hrs away
from Lagos. I’m going to incur so much costs cos I have to get
accommodation and furnishings so this winning this would make it
all less expensive for me, plus it definitely would reduce the
stress of cooking and reheating with a pot and then there’s also
the easy stuff u can just pop In a microwave which dont require
cooking so winning this would be the perfect new year gift lol.
    Thank u.

  • peace December 26, 2013 at 10:33 pm

It makes warming of my family meals easier and faster…I
don’t have to depend on kerosene

  • peace December 26, 2013 at 10:47 pm

Will be VERY useful this festive season as I would be
preparing different meals. It cooks food faster, saves time and
    still retain nutrients in food.

  • Chika Olisa December 26, 2013 at 10:48 pm

I’ve used a century stabilizer for years and from my
experience century products are reliable and durable. To have a
microwave from Century would be the best thing that could ever
happen to my kitchen in 2013. There is nothing like a good
    microwave for fast meals.

  • foodie December 26, 2013 at 10:56 pm

  • belle December 27, 2013 at 7:37 am

Mine is a very simple, genuine and straightforward reason.
I am getting married to the man of my drems in less than 35days. We
are still looking for a place to call home amidst the wedding
planning. Winning this Century microwave will help tick off one of
the things on our list of appliances needed for our new home
    .

  • amaka lucy ogbonna December 27, 2013 at 9:10 am

    Hello Bellaniaja.
Mercury century microwaves will only afford me the opportunity of relieving me the stress of warming my hubby food everytime I need to take out the food from the freezer for him.as a working class woman, it is just the best solution to some of my cooking challenges I have especially now that I am pregnant and always very weak to cook every day. I would say its the best recipe for pregnant women. I do not really care whether I win it or not but I want to appreciate you for putting up this package for we viewers and God will continue to enlarge your coast .Amen. Stay well Bella Naija.

  • kay December 27, 2013 at 10:14 am

well aside the fact that it’ll totally look good in
my kitchen and it saves me the stress of warming food over the fire it’ll be a nice christmas/new year gift for my mum since I couldn’t get her any

  • Aibee December 27, 2013 at 11:36 am

I’ve been on the weight loss project since 2013. Lost 10kg last year and plan to lose 8-10kg more in 2014 to reach my target weight of 65kg. In 2013, I found that a diet heavy in protein and fiber helped me a great deal. I usually made moi-moi, beans pottage etc during the weekends and packed it in the freezer to be reheated during the week. Alas, since the microwave at home got spoilt, reheating the moi-moi isn’t easy cos you have to wrap it in a newspaper and steam again, after spending hours waiting for it to defrost. The same thing applies to the beans – takes hours for it to defrost enough to be warmed up on the gas.
With a Century Microwave Oven, I can easily defrost my meals and heat them up without spending too much time in the kitchen. I’d be taking some professional courses in 2014 and I really need to spend less time turning beans in the pot to make sure it doesn’t get burnt. A century microwave oven will greatly reduce the time I spend as all I’d have to do will be to pop it in the microwave, set the timer and go do something else with the time.
A century microwave oven will also be useful to my household especially as my father is on a restricted diet due to health reasons. He can eat ofada and other brown rice and boy, does ofada rice take hours to cook. Imagine doing this everyday. A century microwave oven means I cook a large batch of rice during the weekend, pack it into smaller bowls and microwave during the week.
So please let me win the Microwave.

  • Charles Obi December 27, 2013 at 1:38 pm

Mercury century microwaves is all i need as a barchelor who stays alone and it’ll also beautify my kitchen this festive season… Microwave is useful and
needed in this day and age.
    We are a society of
    convenience, By using it
only for what it does best,
    it’ll improve the quality
of my life style and i’ll also enjoy my meals.
    like Heating up leftovers.
This is great, the food is
    already cooked, you are
    just looking to heat it
    up and utilize food.
    Defrosting food quickly.
    This is a great
    convenience, as the need
    for food that is frozen
    happens to all of us.
    Cooking prepared foods.
    Some food is meant to
    be prepared in the
    microwave. Hungry man
who’s back from work dont really hava time to cook, but to
    microwave popcorn and
    some soups come in a
    microwave cup, and
    others are designed to
    cook this way.
Abeg i need the beautiful Mercury century microwaves badly…..Thanks.

  • Babajide Fakiye December 27, 2013 at 1:43 pm

Since my neighbour in our yard bought his microwave he didn’t allow us to rest with mentioning of “I want to microwave my rice o or I want to microwave my stew, this or that, to extent that he microwave PAP…..mtcheewww!! Therefore with this opportunity from your medium, if I win it, I’ll be able to show-off that microwave no be luxury but necessity. My honourable panel of judges, I hope with few point of mine have been able to convince you but not to confuse you.

  • Omaoyena December 27, 2013 at 8:12 pm

Hmmmmmm! This is just what I need to complete my kitchen, I
live with my parents at ikorodu and work at VI. My Dad keeps
complaing about his meals being served late and he wants a differnt
kind of soup each night, while my mum complains shes too tired to do
all the cooking required with this microwave I can cook over the
weekend, dish in small packs and store in the freezer and they just
pick out what they want. Within minutes their food is ready!
Pleeeeeeeeaaaaaaseee I really need this to make both parties
    happy.
