FRSC Refutes Reports that Obasanjo was Involved in Car Accident

A few hours ago, there were several reports floating around on social media that former president, Olusegun Obasanjo, was involved in a serious car accident.

However, the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) took to its Facebook page to refute the reports, via the following statement:

FORMER PRESIDENT OBASANJO NOT INVOLVED IN ANY SERIOUS ROAD TRAFFIC CRASH
Contrary to reports in the social media platforms that former President Olusegun Obasnjo had a serious crash on the Lagos-Ibadan expressway today, the vehicle in which the former president was traveling only had tyre problem. President Olusegun Obasanjo moved into the backup vehicle and continued his journey while the blow out tyre was changed and left the scene.
