  • Rita January 21, 2016 at 6:07 pm

A fight against PDP not corruption. And Amaechi how many? Fashola?

    • californiabawlar January 21, 2016 at 7:59 pm

So you’re a member of PDP or how is it your business? They have caught thieves that have stolen YOUR money, and you’re busy crying witch hunting….or wait, which one of the names up there shared the money with you??!! Do you even have employment in any PDP embezzlement funded establishment or business? They stole money and didn’t have the decency to invest the money in Naija to provide employment….smh.

Next time you feel the need to complain about something that doesn’t work in Nigeria pls just shut your mouth and enjoy it….you deserve every bit of heat rash on your skin when NEPA takes the light and you don’t have fuel for your generator.

      • Glory N January 21, 2016 at 8:53 pm

I’m sorry but any fight against corruption that is lopsided is WITCH HUNTING and not a true fight. what your comment encourages is the believe that a person can loot and get away with it so long as they are in the ruling party. the political class has milked Nigeria dry and ALL must be held accountable. the ones in APC that did not invest in Nigeria are they any better? pls what is good for the goose is good for the gander. all efforts at fighting corruption will only be genuine if they cut across party lines, ethnic and religious affiliations. NO SINGLE NIGERIAN IS ABOVE THE LAW and the LAW APPLIES EQUALLY TO ALL. No one should be emotionally blackmailed for calling out this faux corruption fight for what it is – selective and lacking in good faith AKA WITCH HUNTING

      • concerned9ja January 21, 2016 at 9:58 pm

What do you expect? all the family members and househelps who have profited are coming on here…defending the indefensible….gosh!!…time to flip the average 9ja mentalilty from stomach infrastructure!!

      • Buharis’s Side Chick January 21, 2016 at 10:53 pm

@concerned9ja, l said it a long time ago your upbringing is faulty. If there are house helps on this blog what are you? SLAVE? ODE

      • concerned9a January 22, 2016 at 12:23 am

        @Buhari ‘s side chic…if it itches…scratch it!!
Like you got no househelp….there’s dignity in labour…hypocrite much!!…
        Talking about a Stranger’s upbringing….says a lot about yours….the truth hurts..

    • OwoNiKoko January 21, 2016 at 11:00 pm

Pls its obvious you were payed for this comment. I know Politicians pay people to comment on blogs so that they can mislead the general public. ; one person using different URLS/emails to comment so it seems like many people are against or in support of an act. Is God that willl punish all you wicked souls. Nigerians are dying and you’re selling their souls for money. You better accept that witch hunting or not any idiot go fear steal again. Carry on Buhari and get our money back so we can start developing Nigeria. I mean its 2016 and we still don’t have light

      • Glory N January 22, 2016 at 12:46 am

Paid? LOL! not all of us are zombies, not all of us lack objective reasoning, not all of us are impressed by sensational headlines with no meaningful gains, not all of us will sell our conscience for bread and porridge. Sorry that I can see through the hypocrisy of your god. contribute whatever you want to contribute without accusing people of things you know nothing about. we are not all robots and hence we cannot all think alike.

  • Adah January 21, 2016 at 6:10 pm

Selective list. Get serious Mr President.

  • Chinma Eke January 21, 2016 at 6:24 pm

Lol! And pdp members are the only politicians with houses in UAE? Lmao!

    • ATL’s finest January 22, 2016 at 6:41 am

Lol abi.. How much did they pay Sahara reporters? Ok I guess APC parties are saints from God hmmm it is well with them all & this list. What about Buhari’s family members and himself??? Abi they r true SAINT’s? Smh #PATHETIC#

  • Glory N January 21, 2016 at 6:26 pm

oh! only current PDP members have properties in UAE! Sahara clap for yourself! the gullible ones who will buy this selective list, clap for yourself as well……..
notice how much we’ve lost in the stock market and how the private sector is downsizing and how investors are running away?
keep dancing and hailing a pretentious fight against corruption. By mid year when the masses can’t afford garri, tomato, rice and kerosene, serve them the garnished dish of “we are fighting Corruption”. the ones who got tired from queuing up for essenco in 1984 and who danced in the streets after IBB’s coup in 1985 are still alive….go and ask them why they danced…….

  • jinkelele January 21, 2016 at 6:29 pm

Its Sahara Reporters list. Our president did not release any list . If you read the report the meeting was for bilateral agreements.
Sahara reporters is just being mischevious as always. No real facts.
I can give a list of Nigerians with property in Dubai sef. Nothing explosive here.

  • marcel January 21, 2016 at 6:30 pm

Smh. Na only pple from past dispensation wey get properties @sahara reporters. Not fair

  • Author Unknown January 21, 2016 at 6:33 pm

See the excerpt from the treaty reading like a Nigerian scam letter. What is ONCIVIL? What is RECPVERY? Am I expected to take this seriously? 🙂 I expect better from an official document, regardless whether or not their official language is English. I know that’s not the point sha.

  • lifeisbeautiful January 21, 2016 at 6:38 pm

Is this an exhaustive list? Come on now. Well now I know why Buhari traveled to UAE! !hehehe

  • booboo January 21, 2016 at 6:42 pm

Why only PDP? Sahara reporters just trying to stir up more controversy and more conversation which helps them to get attention they need for their business. I’m APC and I don’t believe Mr president knows about this list. Na so dem dey do am Sahara reporters?

  • Emerald City Babe January 21, 2016 at 6:44 pm

I’m all for fighting corruption but I feel that this administration is doing selective corruption fighting. Why are the people on this list only from the last administration? What about people in OBJ’s, Babangida’s administration? I sense the president wants to instill fear into the citizens of Nigeria.

  • Tee January 21, 2016 at 6:51 pm

Have you guys noticed that the people against this news/move are from the same place. Yes, I just said that. If you doubt it, go through your names and your negative comments. I wonder why you lot didn’t advise your GEJhero to do the same with APC thiefnubu and the rest. But he couldn’t cos he was on mission. And his followers will follow him blindly and serve Lucifer sef if they find out he hates PMB. Which way forward? Start fighting corruption from somewhere or sit down and do nothing. Let the witch/wizard hunt continue. As for we SW, we only want cleansing and let any one that take over in 2019 follow this witch hunt trend. That way we will have a better Nigeria and a deterrent for others.

    • anon January 21, 2016 at 10:40 pm

there will always be that idiot who will make it a tribal war. Nigeria will never change as long as people like you exist and speak like this

    • Lagosgirl January 21, 2016 at 11:34 pm

Tee you want cleansing after they cleansed MKO in south west? Ok no wonder they have turned your Osibajo to a zombie!!!!!

Keep waiting for Malam to cleanse SW for you ode!!

    • nnenne January 22, 2016 at 2:57 am

My dear Tee… Cleansing should start from the SW and North. Yes, I said so. Then take it down to SE, SS.. Go back in history and you will find the reason why it should be so.
For crying out loud, you guys must think parents are not talking to their children. That people aren’t reading. We are not daft!
Why is it that anyone who asks for fairness is tagged GEJ’ follower. For your information, most of us don’t even know him, neither are we from SS.

You have to realize that most people on this blog don’t even live, work in Nigeria and can sustain themselves without your stupid Naira.
They just want fairness. Do it fairly or you don’t do it at all!

    • nene+ January 22, 2016 at 8:39 am

Tribal tee! Your brother Osibajo who is a professor of law, a senior advocate of Nigeria knows better, he wouldn’t fight corruption in this crude manner!!!!

If you are afraid to challenge dullariho, we are not!!! That is why we supported your brother OBJ, our dear Yaradua, and GEJ. We hate Buhari’s approach!!!!

      Buhari is loopsided get it!!!!

We are not afraid in SS and SE and so Fayose, Adegoruwa, and free Yoruba!!! Am not referring to band wagon like you!!!!

    • Yeyeperry January 22, 2016 at 10:44 am

You know, what people don’t seem to understand is, sooner or later those who are being “witch hunted” will become whistle blowers. Look at the DasukiGate thing. At the end of the day whether PDP or APC o, the thieves will call out their fellow thieves and justice will be served. Sebi many of them defected that time? All d ones they commited then will blow and then they also will implicate their new buddies. It’s all a circle jare.

  • xag January 21, 2016 at 6:51 pm

Stories. Nigerians can easily be fooled. Have you ever heard the UAE repatriate funds or seize assets on behalf of foreign governments? Even Ibori that was arrested because of the U.K requests, which assets did they seize, return or sell? The whole world hides their money there for a reason, the moment they start laying hands on people’s funds, thats the end of business for them. Let Nigerians keep deceiving themselves.

  • crap January 21, 2016 at 7:12 pm

Crap! Arrant Rubbish! So it’s only PDP members that owns properties in UAE? Even ordinary floor members own houses in dubai… Nigerians keep deceiving themselves since 1900. *yimu

  • Ore January 21, 2016 at 7:14 pm

    Thank God you realised

  • mslady86 January 21, 2016 at 7:20 pm

owning property is not a crime. Neither is owning a business. Now, a bank account with unexplained funds would be juicy.

    • Kelah January 21, 2016 at 10:09 pm

My dear if you read that article well, you would realise that its ‘Properties” not ‘property’ In that case, it takes misappropriation of Government Funds to own several properties in a Foreign country. And for the rest of you gullible fools buying this selective fight against corruption….get some sense please!!!!!

      • Sansarai January 22, 2016 at 12:54 am

@Kelah, please tell them o. I weep for Nigeria and Nigerians. We truly deserve the leaders and nonsense “leadership” that we get. If Jonathan had won, nobody would have heard about even one of these multitudes of financial misdeeds our “leaders” have hidden in their closets. EFCC would have remained a toothless dog and the stealing bonanza would have continued. But here we have a president that is trying to do the right thing, calling the people in power to answer for their sins and all Nigerians can do is insult him: dullard! vengeful man! witch hunter! Nigerians would have done worse to Jesus than the Jews. I’m not sure what’s worse than scourging and crucifixion but Nigerians would have devised it. Forever protecting the people that have sucked your country dry and persecuting the one who is trying to deliver you. I give up on una…

  • j’suis belle January 21, 2016 at 8:16 pm

this vendeta in the disguise of fight against corruption that displays humilation and public disgrace of former friends will bring more enemies and bloodshed than in a physical civil war. wisdom is not bought in the market Mr. President , u are supposed to be the father of the nation which includes everyone don’t let people manipulate you. U’ve been on this sit once and u the rules to play by. Atleast now we know energy wasn’t what exactly took u to the U.A.E

  • nystyle January 21, 2016 at 9:50 pm

Bellanaija.com is becoming hot and juicy. ..nice! Lol

  • Bbamsmi January 21, 2016 at 10:32 pm

I think APC leaders with properties in UAE could have secretly given theirs up because they know Sai baba is a no nonsense President

  • Ba January 21, 2016 at 11:20 pm

PdP over to you. Open their yansh too.

  • hezekina pollutina January 21, 2016 at 11:23 pm

mr president: i kindly request a quarterly report that shows your profit and loss in your war against corruption: how much u are spending flying around the world making deals with other governments to recover stolen loot, how much u are actually getting back, how the money is being re-invested into our economy. thank you!

  • artklub January 22, 2016 at 12:21 am

There he goes signing Nigeria up for slavery to UAE…..

  • ElessarisElendil January 22, 2016 at 3:41 am

To the people screaming witch hunting???????I hope you guys aren’t really that naive.

So a politician in a POLITICAL PARTY is going to go after members of his own party in his FIRST TERM. Occasionally you people can try a little logic nah.

They’re two ways a strategist will approach this:

    1. Don’t try your own guys, because you don’t want to turn enemies into friends.

    2. Try them in your second term when you don’t owe them anything anymore.

But Nooooooooo Nigerians want him to commit suicide for them because we all don’t know how Julius Caesar turned out(stabbed by one of his closest friends if you don’t know).

As my people say “what the Old Man sees sitting down, the young can’t see from the trees”. For all I care crush the PDP! They ain’t ever done anything for me.

P.S Why did the Ford pardon Nixon and not try him? Maybe because they’re both GOP? Why didn’t the Allies try their own for war crimes during WW2 because of the word “allies”. Unless you’re one of those who believe they’re saints in which case sorry ehn pick up a book.

    • kilipot January 22, 2016 at 7:20 am

      Ah! You have sense.

    • nene+ January 22, 2016 at 10:23 am

      Shoro niyen????
So buhari is playing politics with corruption???? He is coming for 2nd term when pounds is N5k per one???? Abeg don’t wish us badluck!!!!

  • Cindy January 22, 2016 at 8:26 am

Shey gbogbo yin stupid ni? What do you expect, that he goes after his own party members? Please wake up. Even if you are an upright judge and a child of yours commits a crime, tell me you will throw that child under the bus without thinking twice. Mtchew. Anyway, I am happy with this development. This is why I wanted APC to win. Opposition ti take over. Learn them go after all the PDP looters. Yes, I said it. When the next election comes, let PDP do everything in their power to win too so that they can do the same to APC looters. After some years of back and forth, all the idiot politicians will learn by force one way or the other. Witch hunt or no witch hunt, a corrupt politician is still a corrupt politician so I owe no one any sympathy?

  • coke January 22, 2016 at 8:29 am

Lol I love this. But baba try and expose some of APC too

  • madam o January 22, 2016 at 1:49 pm

I am still surprised u had these amount of likes.. Granted they stole our money, but isn’t it too obvious that this report is CLEARLY a BIASED one. If you are serious with the Fight against corruption, call everyone involved out and stop playing Nigerians like we are fools. Don’t give us the half of it and expect us to cheer you on, granted you are actually the first to bring about this kind of innovation in pinning down corrupt persons, but my Dear Buhari, Men of Intergrity are Men of Truth, and not just Truth, but the whole Truth. I can bet u that only Tinubu has a lot more than the number of houses that all these people joined together do. It’s high time we stop fooling our selves as a nation, let’s all be neutral about it, If we want to fight corruption, let’s fight it and stop playing party politics, same thing, Lai Mohammed kept castigating PDP for during their reign. Na wa oo!!! It’s only God that can save Naija. God bless us all.

  • concerned9a January 22, 2016 at 4:36 pm

How many PDP Sympathisers did Jona free from the clutches of PDP…even the convicted ones he overturned just before the elections. ..now saying Buhari should be above board
How many mothers call out their rascally sons??..talking reality not your idealism
    Bottom line they STOLE..

  • mabel January 23, 2016 at 7:45 pm

My mother would. Did you not preach to us that Buhari is a saint? Are we wrong to expect something ‘saintly’ from this saint? So now why did we vote for this change? (not that I voted for him or Gej).. If 16 years of pdp rule gave us presidents that had a field day witch hunting oppositions, why did we have to scream and vote change only to have our ‘saint’ do the same? So we are expecting too much to want ‘no sacred cows’ to mean exactly that? . Even some of us that wanted the Kowa party presidential candidate to win are upset sef. At least she would have done something different that will signify true change. There’s no change here jor. Same old bs. 16 years just became 16+ years of pdp rule. Same faces, same shit. Nonsence.
