I was tempted to curse U but was held back by salvation. U guys really need to let DBanj be. His hustle is different from P-Square’s, i really get annoyed when people whine about other people’s success, create urs or STFU!

Beautiful song. Good remix. Nigerians are going places, that’s one thing I can proudly say we are talented, and hard working people. If only these leaders will do more to better the country. Nigeria will be on top.

That’s d thing here. There’s still no music from him.. its bn almost a year now. These guys did theirs just a few weeks back, n already there’s a collabo. That’s how it should be done. Remain d king in ur jungle while u work to conquer d town. U dont give up all u’ve achieved just to start from scratch again n be bossed around by somebody whose achievements are even relatively less than urs in comparison. Dbanj’s intent is right but his execution is poor. Fact.

The Igbo man focuses on business and money first but the yoruba man will rather focus on who’s hanging with irrespective of whether he’s thriving or not. I’m Yoruba but this is so true.

and this is related to the music how?
What’s this sh*t about Igbos being too money-loving? Please if you hate money, sweetly-kindly pass it to the next Igbo person you see ! People have their individual personalities irrespective of tribe ! I have met Yoruba men in this U.S who have tried severally to cheat me out of my money, I have been into some Yoruba home that was so filthy my American friend stated it was unhealthy for her & her kid to even visit. Still that does make me generalize, I saw it as an individual thing, so snap out of it and stop
      tribalizing !

Rick Ross, but i was expecting more from dis than wat i got, a remix is supposed to have a lil of the original song with a some good mix in d beats and probably lyrics nd a lil rap, but wat i heard was d same old song which i hated by d way and five lines of rap(yawning) pls dont kill me, its my opinion

Most of you Nigerians here are ignorant ,have you forgotten that Dbanj was first to feature a U.S Artist (Snoop Dogg) before Psquare and when he did it he was still Don Jazz…..?????? Stop talking bad about him ……

    • Adaeze

      June 12, 2012 at 12:33 pm

Are you kidding me? 2FACE collaborated with Beenie Man, R-Kelly etc while dbanj was still ‘tongoloing’ lol hmm don’t even go there. DBANJ wasn’t the first. Please let’s stop comparing, they are all doing well i.e. DBANJ, 2face and p square. Nice collabo. More grease to your elbow.

    • brrap

      June 12, 2012 at 2:26 pm

Na boo.. he’s not d first. and even if he were to be d first, success is not measured by who does it first or last.. its about who did it d best. Dbanj is still roasting n trying to find his feet. These guys r walking already. Next, they’ll feature another konvict artist, probably lady gaga, n d world will know their name – which is wat banj is trying soo desperately to achieve. I wish him luck but the journey is gon be twice as hard dis time. he didnt think it thru b4 he set off on dis path. Its not impossible but e go hard am wella.

I am liking what P-Square & Akon are doing, Akon definitely has a better understanding for the uniqueness of African music & the artist that delivers the song. So glad p-Square didn’t try to use some yankee produced beat that their melody wouldn’t flow to plus officer Ricky’s rap flowed with the song. Big-up guys, keep up the good work

I wish people will stop bringing Dbanj into every topic. We all know Dbanj has done Best whether You hating or not, Do You know how far Oliver Twist has gone? No 9 on the UK chart…. No be beans Dbanj is the boss. Am not trying to belittle what Psquare are doing but compared to what Dbanj has done and still doing thiers is little. Dbanj is allover UK and Europe, even The Top footballers are feeling Him. Hes still the best that’s why most of you are so so obsessed with Him.

  54. MelonX

    June 12, 2012 at 3:08 pm

So there aren’t fine Igbo girls to use for this video, abi? This mentality of using non- Nigerian red bones in musical videos makes me sick.
By the way, D’banj rocks forever. His album The Entertainer was one of the best albums ever produced, period. I can never get tired of it.

    • Italian Mistress

      June 12, 2012 at 3:18 pm

You’re so myopic and honestly you’re a clear example of what is wrong with this country. Watch the video, enjoy it… or don’t. Appreciate the effort they’ve put in it… or don’t but please don’t bring your bigoted, tribalistic views up here.

    • Benease

      June 12, 2012 at 4:27 pm

my sentiments exactly, what’s wrong with using dark-skinned girls?

  55. Somebody

    June 12, 2012 at 3:37 pm

@ Italian mistress, there is nothing myopic abt wat melonx said, its true and a fact! thye r doing a good job, but why can’t they promote nigerian girls who truly know the meaning of the song? And u cant tell me we dont have pretty clean girls here in Naija, look at the girls Ice Prince used in ” Oleku”” video, are they not hot? Now my opinion is that i Love the original version, I HATE THIS!!! Its my opinion and i am entitled to it.

    • Softy

      June 15, 2012 at 1:38 am

This video looks like it was shot overseas, and Naija has a drought of professional video girls. I’ve tried recruiting pretty Naija girls for a commercial campaign and it was too much work. It’s way easier to find pretty girls in Yankee for this kind of work.

waoh…………this is really awesome……especially the beginning of the video……america is really a beautiful country……………..maimi…….i bless God for making it possible for me to be living in this country…………….

what is beautiful about this song is that my american friends would be like… this is an african song…………..p-square is really doing a great job……i have all their cds including their first ever…………..10yrs from now their music would still be strong………….

i believe that p-square is mixing originality plus western advancing………..

for me african music has become a movement especially with p-square not slowing down……..

d’banj is also doing a great job and we must appreciate that……..

when i was in school i played p-square game over video to over hundred students here in the states and they were like are this really africans……….3 of my professors requested for the cd and more than 17 students wanted a copy too……i had to burn the cd to many copies and gave them…..

african music can would really sell in the states especially p-square and wiz kid….praiz and banky w would also sell here with a good distribution company………

there isw no american friend of mine who has heard p-square that did not love them crazzily…..

if d’banj can invoke songs like fall in love i still believe that he can sell in the states………..but p-square and wiz kid stands a bigger chance…………wiz kid sounds like a jamaican so he won’t be strange to americans…………

i am watching this video over and over again guys…….

As 4 Rick, If u don’t know, an American artist Lil Issue ft dbanj n Rick. UMG SA,is it d same with UMG UK just 2 mention few achievements.n vry soon we’re workn on it ,dbanj will still shock u damn ass hole local haters

lovely song always, dope rap…. ppl promote and support our naija people wherever or wateva they have decided to do, as long as its good… Dbanj is doing great stuff, psquare is doin great stuff too. There is one common thing among these guys, they r tryna break d international market.. They want the world to cum to us dis time around as d reverse has been d case in previous years.. I believe one day dat thru our songs which is gradually going international, the plight of nigeria and nigerians will be heard and our political state will be solved thru our music… So wat ever steps this guys are taken to be heard in d international eye, pls lets be their backbone.

Well calculated track from Ps album invasion. With Caribbean flavour , Afro french flavour and American infusion that’s a life time track cool. U guys are really working with Akon. Akon is good in wining the world and he knows the world while Kanye west knows only America well. Please Uk top 9 is never world 9. Many tracks did not make even twenty in UK still made it globally. If your music can catch the choice of much part of the world then you are already on top. That what Akon is all about. Akon is well heard all over the world and have fans more than Jay z and Kanye west combined. Its a hard way any way for Dbanj he is missing it already he knows it, but I wish he breaks through and come out champion. Am proud of him but follow follow time is gone never again. African Champion turn to good music boy boy for a neck chain gift in this modern age. He fall my hand sha i no go lie.

This is a good look for Psquare business wise and also good for Nigeria in whole. Its not that hard to do. If u are an international artist and have the right connection and yes could afford a top American Rapper’s verse then they will work with u if they wanted to. That being said, I do not like Officer Ricky’s verse, his flow was pretty awful(maybe cos he’s not used to that kinda beats) but it is what it is, to get a Ross’s verse. I won’t even talk about Dbanj cause I do not like son to begin with. Oh I talked abt him already. Peace people.
