New Music: Kahli Abdu – Tears

Once again, the ever-conscious and inspirational Kahli Abdu enlightens us on the issues at hand on “Tears” with his witty lyrics and insightful words for this week’s “Rebel Friday”.

Moved by the recent airplane tragedies in Ghana and Nigeria as well as the outright violence plaguing Nigeria and Afirca as a whole, Kahli Abdu put together “Tears” – a song of hope, a prayer for our nation.

It makes use of 2Face Idibia‘s “Higher” instrumentation and was further produced by Kahli Abdu and his band, The Rebel Government. Kahli vents his frustrations with the current state of national affairs, expressing a hope of better days. May the souls of the departed rest in peace.
