Seyi Shay is a very promising artiste making a crossover into the Nigerian music industry. Her single “No Lele” has been receiving radical airplay on the radio these days as well as her singles, “Loving Your Way” and “Erawo”. So, while she was in the UK, she stopped by at the Factory78 studios for a few words with Adesope.

- Seyi Shay started her music career in the UK as part of the international Pop group, From Above, managed by Beyonce‘s father, Matthew Knowles.
- She was born and raised in the UK but stayed in Lagos, Nigeria with her godparents for a short time which is when she went to Command and Queens’ College.
- Her hit single, “Loving Your Way” was co-written by her and Harrysong.
- She’s the first artist on the FlyTime record label.

She’s good. Hope she stays focused on the game. Forget the comparisons, when you respect your colloeagues (as opposed to beef them) the sky opens up and becomes your starting point. Besides a little healthy competition is good as it’ll keep them tight on their game. That can only be a good thing for the fans now…

Nice on Seyi. They are both beautiful & both talented, Good female artists are few and far bewteen in Nigeria- there is a lot of room for 10 strong female artists in the Naija game. Kudos to them all.

She is really pretty.her video is clean,but as per the voice,Mba Tiwa is simply incomparable for now.have you heard her pepsi advert song with Wizzy? I wish it was a song,was blown away
