Announcing the release date of the movie for October, 19, 2012, the managing director of TASC, Mildred Okwo said

We are excited about this film because it is a truly Nigerian story that cuts across borders. Anybody anywhere in the world will find something about this film to like. We are not only introducing upcoming stars in Femi Jacobs and Linda I. Ejiofor but we are also showcasing a different and dynamic Rita Dominic.

Set in Abuja, the story is about the trials of a Lagos-based corporate executive Makinde Esho (Femi Jacobs) who finds himself at the mercy of political patronage, bureaucratic red tape. He’s struck by Cupid’s arrow while in hot pursuit of a ‘meeting’ to secure a government contract.

The Meeting addresses an array of contemporary issues audiences are sure to identify with from love to African time, to the trials of tackling officials and manoeuvring red tape.

With the script written by Tunde Babablola, directed by Mildred Okwo, produced by Rita Dominic and Mildred Okwo  this movie promises to be all that and more.
