All We Need Is Love: Yetunde Ogunmuko & Adedamola Gbemisola Wed

It was her birthday and Yetunde Ogunmuko was enjoying the dinner party her beau,  Adedamola Gbemisola had planned for her, little did she know that a proposal was part of the grand scheme! That night, Yetunde and Adedamola began their journey towards marital bliss…

On the 12th of July 2012, Yetunde and Adedamola formalized their engagement according to traditional Yoruba tradition. The bride and groom were a wonderful sight to behold in their aquamarine aso oke paired with luxe red beads and corals. Two days later, on Saturday 14th July 2012, it was time for Yetunde and Adedamola to say “I Do“!

Wow” was the keyword on everyone’s lips when Yetunde stepped into the church preceded by the bridal train and hand-in-hand with her father. She looked amazing in her exquisite lace wedding dress with a crystal belt which complemented her hairpiece, earrings and bracelet.  Adedamola stood tall and handsome in his black tuxedo.

The pink lights and winter-inspired centrepieces created a fabulous effect at Yetunde and Adedamola’s wedding reception. The bridesmaids in their fuchsia pink dresses and the groomsmen in their  grey suits with matching fuchsia ties rocked the dance floor as they danced in with the couple. You could feel the love as Adedamola swept his bride off her feet on the dance floor. The celebration got even more exciting when music superstars Davido and Sinzu Sauce Kid surprised everyone with a live performance of  the couple’s favorites “Ekuro” and “Carolina“. It was a day filled with fun and splendour.

BN wishes Yetunde and Adedamola a wonderful life together as husband and wife.

Note to self: Please stick with your plan of short dresses for the BMs, they often turn out great with the right shoes.

    • lawyer lady

      November 6, 2012 at 10:36 am

Biko read the comment well, @camron was not talking about the groom. She/he was saying that where she stays, most guys would not be able to comfortably afford a mega wedding without incurring debts which will result in them looking sad on their wedding day lol

Beautiful wedding! Could really feel the love between d couple. See how he just carried her. And her dress, that dress was WOW

      November 6, 2012 at 6:44 pm

I knew it, I knew it. When I saw the dress i said that is a Maggie Sottero and Midgley. I just waited to scroll down to be right. This bride, take twenty, you’ve got taste. I wouldnt have wanted to take that dress off sha. So you changing into iro and buba, me no likey. I have looked at so many wedding dresses, I can tell a Vera Wang, from a Monique Lhulier, from an Ellie Saab, and even Manuel Mota, just by looking at them. I’ve been looking for a while now, and I cant decide. Someone HEEEELLLLP!!!!!. I know I want a trumpet design, but they all design so well. I am thinking of having two dresses, if I cant choose one. One for the US wedding and the other for the 9ja wedding. Bros will kill me. Lol. Chai, Lucy, middle class problems. Lol. Congrats guys, your wedding looks fab.

    • Nonye

      November 6, 2012 at 9:38 am

The dress is Veronica by Sottero and Midgley, a shoot off from Maggie Sottero. Maggie Sottero has other short dresses ideal for wedding receptions and you can check out her IsabellaLeigh dress or IsadoraAnne dresses. All the best 🙂
