I have a feeling these comments above were written by the same person/ group of friends. The song is OK and so not different from what other Nigerian female musicians have released and will release. I’m not sure if it’s because Nigerian women really lack personality or they are afraid of standing out .
There is a fair amount of variety among the male musicians- M.I is different from Naeto, Olamide, Lynxxx, Phyno, Jesse Jagz, Vector. D’banj is different from 2face, Banky, iyanya, bez, etc. And they are all doing well.
Though I didn’t like Goldie’s music, I respected her for doing her own thing. Tiwa, Omawumi, Waje, and Shay will continue to be the only relevant girls if other females don’t step up their game. They don’t bring anything special.

for realz though….I’m listening to the song…I don’t see how it’s any different from all the music from all the new female artists we see every other week…
I only jumped on the Tiwa bandwagon of recent sef….Asa’s album is the only female naija artist’s I have(and at this rate, will ever have) in my collection…

@Subomi, since you r well versed in music, please tell us 5 songs that this sounds like. I completely disagree with your comment. I actually like this song because it doesn’t sound like another Nigerian female song. Just take simple fact that there is no Yoruba in the song – the go to move allvtje ladies
