Inspired by Hollywood Blockbuster “Avatar”! See Behind the Scenes Photos from Donna Diva’s “Gaga” Music Video

Donna Diva (26)

A lot of Nigerian music videos are taking an extra step out of the box of late. With May D‘s recent “Django Unchained” movie theme, it was expected that he wasn’t the only one with a movie theme in mind for a music video. In this case, Donna Diva chose the record-breaking alien saga, “Avatar” as inspiration.

The highly conceptual visuals were directed by Matt Max, the man behind Olamide‘s “Voice of the Streets” & “Stupid Love” as well as Coco Ice‘s “It’s Me”. Donna Diva‘s new video for her single, “Gaga” is about two more steps out of the box as it shows an immense use of characterization, reminiscent of the likes of Lady Gaga and the late great Goldie.

I wonder why we have to border on infringing copyright laws when we have enough django unchained and out of the ordinary aspects of African life that we can translate into art form.

The late great Goldie? Respect to her creative ways but Mr Onos O., just because someone died in the most shocking of ways doesn’t warrant the title ‘Great’.

She was eccentric, hardworking, dedicated, fun, but not ‘Great’ in her area of music or showbiz

Totally rubbish, are we that backward?,what the heck are these people doing here, the facial painting is beyond horrible,my 3 year old can do better, and what about these half naked malnourished looking, young men doing with them rags clothes.
It is reallly horrible and to imitate Avatar is a total disservice to Mr cameron.
This is nothing but white wash display of medicocrity which Nigerians are best known for.Rubbish nonesense.
