How Lynda & Igos Met
by Lynda
We met on my first day in school (UNIBEN) in 2007. I was in my hostel where he came to visit his friends and one of them called me to say hello, I did and as they say the rest is history.

How He Proposed
by Lynda
We travelled to south Africa in January 2013 to watch the African Cup of Nations and we stayed in Sandton JoBurg so we travelled to the cities where the Nigerian team played their matches and it was really beautiful experiencing the rich culture of the southern Africa. Few days before we battled it with the Ivorians, I was sleeping and he asked me to dress up that we were going to see our friends and some South Africans at Sandton Mall, when we got to the restaurant,there they were waiting to receive us. Meanwhile I had no idea what was about to happen,so the food, drinks and conversations started but before I knew it, he started telling them how grateful he is to know me and other beautiful words like that. I was still wondering why he was saying all that until he brought out this beautiful ring and popped the question – of course it was a straight yes!

Lynda and Igos’ wedding day was intimate and magical in every way.

At the traditional wedding, the bride and groom wore rich cultural outfits – accessorized with coral beads and intricate embroidery. The bride changed into gold and red and served the groom palm wine, before they danced the day away with family and friends.

On the white wedding day, the beautiful bride looked elegant and romantic in a lace Mori Lee wedding dress with floral patterns, while the groom looked handsome in white. The ceremony was so touching – Lynda cried when they recited their 1st hymn as a married couple. The groom stood by her side and wiped her tears. {Soo cute}

The star studded reception included performances and beautiful wishes from guests including Ali Baba, Teju Babyface, Yaw, Tee-A and J Martins.

BellaNaija Weddings wishes Lynda and Igos all the best in life and love!

    For a long minute there, all I had eyes for was that jug of Palmwine. Chei, see Tombo!!*salivating*

    And what a fresh-faced beauty!! The bride, this time not the palmie… Nwa nne m, e maka zi!! Omalicha Tomato. I love her bouquet and I love even more that she shared the roses out to all the ladies instead of tossing it… Although I did wonder why dem fellas were stretching out their hands too…

    Loved the outfit for the native wedding as well, she wore it very well. May your married life bring you even greater happiness than your wedding day did. xx

    The groom is a lucky dude,such a stunner all to himself? Wake up everyday and worship the ground on which she walk(joking)…she got mad taste,luv all her dresses…with such in your house,there will be no straying! God bless ur union..BN is such a wonderful site,it my daily dose,except for the overly censored comments,I don’t buy magazine anymore!

      Such a beautiful wedding. Correct choices by the couple. Ehnehn, this is what we are talking abt, all the pictures looked amazing because them close eye pay correct Makeup artist and beta photographer . Some ppl will spend all their money on every other thing except on how they want to look. Forgetting that 90% of the pictures will have them in it, they’ll now look ordinary on their own special day, na them sabi sha . Thank you are Igos and Lynda. Makeup Artist 10 Gbosas for u.
