It’ almost time for the 2014 NeedleKraft Fashion Show & Awards in Lagos, Nigeria!

For their 2nd edition, the fashion show is aimed at redefining the entertainment landscape and exploring new corners of the industry. According to the CEO of NeedleKraft, Princess Tese Onokala, “Needlekraft Fashion & Empowerment 2014 is positioned to elevate fashion standards, create empowerment for women and deepen the interest of fashion lovers for made in Nigeria fashions of great taste“.

There will also be entertainment with musical performances from Nigerian music artists, comics and celebrity catwalks with stars like Monalisa Chinda, Ini Edo, Kate Henshaw, Omotola Jalade-Ekehinde, Uti Nwachukwu, Chidi Mokeme, Fredrick Leonard, Alexx Ekubo, Zack Orji and a host of others.

Dignitaries including the 1st lady of Lagos, Her Excellency Dame Abimbola Fashola and the Iyaloja-General of Nigeria Folashade Tinubu-Ojo, are expected as the Special Guests-of- honour at the event.

Highlights of the evening that guests will include; giving out “Fashion Icon Awards”, freebies including free sewing machines donated by sponsors Zenith Bank & FCMB to NeeldeKraft Fashion School graduates.

One of the supporters of the fashion show, Arik Air will also be giving out free return tickets to United Kingdom, for lucky winners who will be selected through a raffle draw on the day of the event. “This is a clear demonstration of corporate support and endorsement of Needlekraft initiative and we are sincerely grateful to our supporters and sponsors”, said Tese Onokala,
