Lydia Forson on Ndani TV's The Juice - June 2014 - BellaNaija,com
Ghanaian actress Lydia Forson is this week’s guest on Ndani TV’s The Juice.

The “Phone Swap” actress sits on the posh couch with host Toolz and spills on her rise in the African film industry, embracing her curves, and a charity close to her heart.

But that is not all. Lydia also speaks on accepting and embracing her lovely lady curves, “Confidence is a process, it is self acceptance. You have a choice to let people’s opinion define you or to tell them to leap off” she says.

Toolz asks why Ghanaian movies are so racy, she says Ghanaians are more open because people actually do these (sex, kissing) things, while the Nigerian film industry is more careful.

Catch Season 2 of “The Juice” every Sunday on Africa Magic Entertainment, DSTV channel 151 at 8pm.

LOL okay let’s get real. There’s nudity and sex that’s tasteful or important to the storyline and you find all of that in some Ghanaian movies directed by people like Shirley Frimpong-Manso or Leila Djansi. However, many of the others are just a hot mess abeg and Nigerian movies are doing it too – dumbass sex scenes that are sexy in their minds but just look hilarious, pathetic, and may actually frighten a poor, unknowing virgin away from sex for the rest of her life.

They can pass for sisters. Nice and mature interview. I wonder how Ghanians are so eloquent but Nigerians just have to force the accent all the time.

Nigerians are not eloquent? So what does Toolz, Nse and Dakore, Joke Silva and co sound like to you? Why do some people like u go nuts whenever Ghanainas are in the equation? You just had to pit one party against another didn’t you? Your comment is unnecessary.

just to clarify( I am a ghanaian)…yes there are people that kiss and all that… but understand that its only a “NUMBER” of people that do that on television and agree with it.. Not everyone..and i dare say many people in Ghana… share the same sentiments on being “open” for tv dramas and movies.
