Brazil v Germany: Semi Final - 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil8th July 2014 will certainly be remembered as one of the darkest days in the history of Brazilian football. 2014 World Cup hosts Brazil were annihilated by Germany at Estádio Mineirão, Belo Horizonte.

It is as though Brazil never had a chance as Germany thumped them with an early goal by Thomas Müller followed by 4 back to back goals by Miroslav Klose, Toni Kroos and Sami Khedira.

With a 5 – 0 scoreline at half time, only a miracle could have resulted in a turnaround for Brazil.

Things went from disastrous to catastrophic in the second half as Germany crowned that momentous win with 2 more goals by André Schürrle. Brazil closed the night with a 90th minute goal by Oscar to bring the final scoreline to 7 – 1.

All those goals Germany is sharing in Brazil, there’s God oo! Neymar owes Zuniga a gift for saving him this embarrassment and Thiago Silva is a wise man he saw it coming, now a reason explanation for his useless tackle has been exposed. #GERvsHLL for final.

Well Germany should have not moved beyond 3-1 to save Brazilian honor like they did in the favor of USA team by just limiting the goals to 1-0; though they could have scored more than ten goals against them.

You talk rubbish . Last time USA played Brazil the USA won . Brazil got this far by luck not skill and this is what happens when your luck runs out . Why hold back because the other team are terrible ?.

I was embarrassed for them. Its humiliating! And on home soil as well! Feel for people who supposedly had to evacuate their homes to have stadiums built, those who lost their lives building and that bridge incident. Felt for the team to be honest and seeing little kids cry wasn’t nice. Couldnt believe that was the same Germany Ghana played against resulting in a 2-2 draw. They were on fire tonight lol. Cant wait for the final.

Therefore brethren I beseech you to remove the disappointing yoke of Brazilian weave on your head. If you have been single for many years, and no results. It’s time to get that weave off of your head. Selah.

This is World Cup Football not High School baby soccer . Just because you are the host doesn’t mean you have the right to win or be given any favors . They were lucky to get this far . Colombia were by far the better team in the last match, Brazil shouldn’t have even been in the Semi Finals . They scabbed it most of the way .

I almost fainted laughing. I had told my people that Brazil has been lucky thus far. The Germans were not even playing hard, what I commend is their cooperation. They passed the ball to the person with the best chance of scoring. It was a good game, I owe Brazil Afang soup for easing my blood pressure, hahaha

Sad day for football history. If it was the super eagles, i am sure we Nigerias would have killed them with our mouth. How the mighty (Brazil) has fallen.

With a team comprising Fred, Hulk, Luiz and Bernard you are obviously not going to go far. German machines showed the Selecao how to play football. Luck and home support helped Brazil all the way. It’s over for Scolari and some of his flops.

“Was that another goal, or just the replay?”, the man sitting next to me asked.

This has been a long time coming. In the past, Brazil has always been ‘aided’ by the referees etc. Now they actually had to play without too much interference and viola???
