    December 4, 2014 at 12:28 pm

Pls leave the poor girl alone, as if pregnancy is not stressful enough. In as much as I do not support pregnancy outside wedlock . However, for someone this heavily pregnant , I don’t think its the right time for insults. live and let live……. Besides not every one’s life must follow the perfect script of building a family………. a child is a blessing no matter what. Congrats dear, Mayowa says so ! its her life & own matter , no body else’s.
    enough said back to work……

SMH @ self-righteous Nigerians. Yes a lot of use have issues with sex outside marriage as it is preached against in some of our various religions but how many of us Nigerian women including the ones commenting here engage in pre-marital sex every day and for some, multiple times a day? Because belle never catch una abi? Even the ones that have done abortions too will be pointing fingers. Or did she tell any of us that she was looking for the father of her child? Puh-leaseeeee.

    • Ona

      December 4, 2014 at 2:23 pm

No one cares if she had a baby with a single guy out of wedluck….at least not
      I. I just hope its not a married man she’s preggo for. The shamelessness of babes these days is unfathomable.

    • Mimi

      December 5, 2014 at 10:26 am

what of the shamelessness of the married man? Abi is he not the one that said vows and committed to someone. Women, we are our own worst enemies i swear! We are quick to jump on another woman, she has sex, slut. she gets pregnant, slut. she’s not married yet, wahala. Yet we give men a free ride. “men are polygamous in nature, she’s chasing my husband or boyfriend, well why did she dress like that or go to his house if she didn’t want to be raped, as if men are imbeciles with no brains. Nonsense.

For the record, I am married and at no point did I ever do runs or get pregnant before marriage, because I know that will be the next point of attack. Everyone has their battles, and we all have our own skeletons hiding away somewhere.

    • mimi

      December 4, 2014 at 5:41 pm

If you have pre marital sex then you are no better than an unwed mother. Only difference is your sin hasnt caught up with you yet. Who am I to judge someone because they sin differntly than I do. and for all you “good girls” every sin carries the same penalty so if you like dont shag, but you gossip, steal, lie…ko si yato o!!

    • Nahum

      December 5, 2014 at 12:58 pm

Babes calm down. Nobody is throwing shade at unwed mothers. We just want to hear gist. no vex

    December 4, 2014 at 12:46 pm

Why does she have to have a husband before she can have a baby?!

    • ray

      December 4, 2014 at 2:10 pm

And why does she not have to??? all them baby mamas stop showing yourself. What a stupid question!

    • MC

      December 4, 2014 at 3:32 pm

Because she doesnt owe anybody anything. She doesnt have to live her life the way you think is right!

    • ray

      December 5, 2014 at 11:25 am

no sweetheart, not the way I think is right..but the way that is right!

    December 4, 2014 at 1:26 pm

People can be so judgemental smh, judging people without knowing the facts. My dear congratulations on your pregnancy jor, it’s a blessing to have a child. Pregnancy really suits her sef

    she looks good

  12. Baby Mama

    December 4, 2014 at 3:12 pm

Congratulations dear, God is your strength and he will grant you a smooth pregnancy and delivery! Unfortunately Nigerians love to judge that is why our country is in a mess, too many hypocrites!! Baby father or not, married or not God gives children , so many married women looking for children! Truth be told my respect for you is sky high i love to see young women taking responsibility for their actions! Alot of Girls would have removed this pregnancy sharp sharp! Your child will be a blessing to you IJN….

    • Beeeee

      December 4, 2014 at 3:56 pm

Thank you so much. We are a bunch of hypocrites.

    • MC

      December 4, 2014 at 4:18 pm

But you’ve just done what you said Nigerians do.
The respect you have for her is sky high because she is taking responsibility of her actions?
“A lot of girls would have removed this pregnancy”….(Im assuming you dont know her personally so feel free to correct me)…..considering you dont know the circumstances of this pregnancy, how are you so sure it would have been removed?
Or are you saying she is carrying her shame proudly and you respect her for that?
You my dear have indirectly judged her

    • Babymama

      December 4, 2014 at 4:44 pm

Because of the stigma attached to women giving birth out of wedlock in Nigeria, whether they are in a loving relationship or not . In our country Nigeria a pregnancy is considered a “shame” if the woman is not married to the father of her child! ….that is what i meant!

  13. MC

    December 4, 2014 at 3:40 pm

what is it with Nigerians and obsessing over people’s life!
most people are shouting “where is her husband” “baby mother “…..etc
Constantly obsessing of marriage (but really the wedding) and religion….when marriages in Nigeria are far from sacred!…far from! Husbands are allowed to cheat “because men are polygamous in nature”- something I’ve recently learnt from Nigerian blogs. I was never taught this in school. Single ladies sleeping with married men. Women sleeping with men for material gains and money, but if you call it ‘runs’ and not ‘prostitution’ then its okay….its all a joke!
The circumstances surrounding this lady’s pregnancy has nothing to do with anybody besides her and the man that impregnated her…so rather than looking down at her because you dont know who the guy is…why don’t you try to stop playing the “I’m better than you” card instead.

    • Muah

      December 5, 2014 at 2:15 am

Well if you don’t want people to talk about you, don’t put your business out there. People are not obsessing. they will judge what they see, its human nature. There are many people out there that keeps a low profile.
its funny how people defend celebs/socialite when these people thrive on the attention they get from the public.

    • MC

      December 5, 2014 at 12:38 pm

Nigerians do obsess over marriage and religion, regardless if person is a celebrity or not….FACT!
Having an opinion or passing judgement is one thing….obsession is another!. I am not defending her. I do not know her.

  14. Daisy

    December 4, 2014 at 3:58 pm

Well she’s having a baby, regardless of how it came about. Let’s not pre-judge this baby’s existence already.

  15. Truth

    December 4, 2014 at 4:17 pm

Congrats to her. In the old days men, especially from the east usually want the woman to prove her womanhood by getting pregnant for them first before marriage, and then once she is pregnant her bride price gets paid and I see nothing wrong with that. You all with your sanctimonious bs will all be just fine. Face your life, if you no go congratulate just waka pass.

One person makes a comment dat dsnt go down well wit some and it becomes a “You Nigerians” deal…abegi tell me where u are from and if in dat country pple dont judge or better yet if u have never judged anyone in ur life…kai!

  17. nwanyi na aga aga

    December 4, 2014 at 7:26 pm

I understand the indignation of the righteous people on this blog who do not judge, have never judged and will not judge ppl, yet toke’s Vlog comment section is filled with bile and spite, that is by the way, my concern is that some of the unrighteous people might want to know, so as to ensure that it is not their husband’s or boyfriend’s baby.. Loooool! Biko you people should help other sisters hustle.. Onye bu nwoke nwe nwa? {Who is the man that owns the child?} Remember be your sister’s keeper, so that they can sleep well at night Loooool!

It’s very disrespectful to use hateful words on expectant mothers, Married or not! I am a proud mother of a beautiful girl whose father I was engaged to before she was conceived. . I took the decision to break off engagement with him because he is impossible! He abused me physically and psychologically, I could have married him to save face but I did not. Because of the way people look down on single mothers, I hated my self and almost committed suicide while I was pregnant.I thought about having an abortion, but I couldn’t bring my self to killing an innocent child
Every time I look at my daughter I feel blessed regardless of what you think about us! And I am positive that I’ll find someone who would love and protect us.

  20. mimi

    December 4, 2014 at 9:48 pm

And all of you tryna find out if its your husband’s or boyfriend’s baby….if it is im sure she didn’t rape the guy. Charity begins at home. Your husband or boyfriend has issues…deal with him. She’s not committed to you, He is.

  21. BlueEyed

    December 5, 2014 at 1:51 am

Wasn’t she the one spewing comments on toke makinwa the other day? How the tables have turned. I don’t judge people and ofcos I can’t judge her, but this babe is promiscuous, we should not promote promiscuousity because she’s having a baby, just praying it’s not someone’s husband. And please what is wrong is wrong however the fact that circumstances happen and things don’t go according to plan, but the truth is having a baby outside wedlock is wrong, but then again miss Venita is not one to be morally inclined so let’s move on….

    • ray

      December 5, 2014 at 10:40 am

      Enough said!

    • MC

      December 5, 2014 at 12:40 pm

      Why is it wrong?
      genuine question.

    December 5, 2014 at 9:02 am

Erm, dear fade if you had spent the time you used to shag to learn more about your ‘fiancé…. No need for the pity party you’re trying to throw yourself.
I think the lady is getting the same venom she spewed on other people or person but then what’s wrong is wrong!

  23. SomeOne

    December 5, 2014 at 11:00 am

Naija and their somewhat funny mentality. So just because she is pregnant she should be exonerated? I blame social media for glamorizing such.. .

What has happened has happened, fine. But it will never justify such acts. This is not about being hypocritical. for all of the awws, and congrats, and tagging people haters ride on. No matter how a lot of you make it look good or right, it is not. If this fact pains you too much. Go and eat chilli pepper.
