#TheDressWhile a lot of people have created meme’s out of the famous black & blue (white & gold) dress, the Salvation Army has used the concept of the dress to create a powerful message.

The Salvation Army created a PSA using a white and gold version of the dress being worn by a woman covered in black and blue bruises.

The photo, shared on Twitter, was captioned “Is it so hard 2 see black & blue? 1 in 6 women are victims. #StopAbuseAgainstWomen”.

    I like it.
The other day, my amala girl was ‘injured’, her eye was black and blue I guess.
Oh what happened my dear, pele,
and she said a door or a wall or something came and hit her head,
and of course I knew and yet I didn’t go further.
And she’s too old for it to have been a parent or guardian, must have been some mumu man somewhere…

Women in abusive relationships please realize you are worth more than gold. Any man who treats you less than a human being does not deserve you. Please leave such men, your life is important to you, to God, to others and to your world.
At the end of the day, it is your choice that matters, even God will not force you to do what is right.

Don’t ever be the victim of psychological or physical abuse, or any type of abuse!!!! Get out as soon as you start to see the signs!!! You are a diamond and don’t deserve it.
