    And take a micro look at Real Governance in Lagos State am not talking of Lagos Island (Marina), Ikoyi, Lekki and VI;
But Agege, Egbeda, Mushin, Shomolu, Fadeyi, Iwaya, Ojodu-Berger etc.

And also while u are on 3rd MainLand Bridge take look Iwaya, Oworinshoki etc.

And can we continue Leadership of Blaming FederalGovt. or Jona?

I know all these place, Cos i have lived in agege, Shomolu and i always en-route Egbeda, Mushin, Fadeyi, Ojodu-Berge. First, Agege have changed cos i grew up there, Egbeda have BRT Lanes and good roads now, apart from Igbo people selling pirated cds, that are blocking the roads there, Shomolo have better road and even a blind person can tell you that. Ojodo Berger is over crowded with Non Yoruba people selling puff puff, cds and hawking, Ojodo have expensive estates. Maybe Fashola should deport some people back to their states, so that his works can be visible.

I wanted to press the reply button instead I pressed love this, mistakenly. Dapo you are the biggest disgrace on earth, Fashola should deport Igbo’s abi, ok. While he is doing that we the Ijaws, in Rivers, Delta, Bayelsa together with our ibo cousin’s will deport all the yoruba leeches in the Oil industry and take our properties from Alakija, Adenuga and Otedola that is how you and your thief of a leader combined and stole the wealth of an entire generation of Ibo’s but in 40 years with no government help, they have become as rich as you, now because Jonathan their in law and cousin is empowering them you people have gone to go and form APc with fulani to remove him, na so it will not work. This is not 1967 where our stupid grand parents went to go and side with the north against their cousins. It won’t happen again, we will defeat you people this time, clowns.

Our leaders have their own episodes of madness. I remember when Jimi said Nigerians shouldn’t vote for Buhari cause he isn’t as handsome as Goodluck. And was like ‘ huh’ well I’m glad his episode of craziness is over. So I’ll sit and wait for who is next.
Nice gesture from Jimi and I join you in prayers.

      March 14, 2015 at 10:51 am

What is it about the story that you found intellectually difficult? If you have nothing to say just keep your mouth shut. The fact is that Jimi Agbaje has shown by this action that he is heads and shoulders above Ambode and Fashola in terms of leadership. You will do well to ask Fashola to think before he talks. Of late a lot of people are thoroughly shocked at how low Fashola has sunk. But what would one expect? Fashola is Tinubu’s toy governor so that says it all for Fashola’s unbelievably shallow utterances.

  13. Dapo

    March 14, 2015 at 3:50 pm

story for the gods ooh, how many Nigerians notice, this a campaign stragedy? why he is there? is he there to amend things? as if he is presently acting governor?. going there is not necessary my dear. Truth of the matter, Gej is to be blame, police is federal things and if the federal govt cant provide standard super police force and well trained policemen for Nigeria and Lagos as the most over crowded state in Nigeria, then why channel your complain to BRF for saying the truth? Well, all these non Yoruba people trying to put down the works of Lagos and finding a little fault to stand on, to make your comments meaningful and blaming Fashola, can return to their states, you are the reason Lagos is over crowded anyways. U vote APC or not, Lagos will still development, i know that will hurt your feelings more.

    • Cece

      March 14, 2015 at 4:21 pm

How is GEJ to blame? Fashola in his years of tenorship should have known that there are not enough policemen, and taken care of it as an issue. Look at America, if Obama were to visit Atlanta, would they take all the policemen to protect him in that state. America is even larger than Nigeria. or have people resigned from the police force?

As far as im concerned, the word Governorship is synonymous to taking care of or overseeing an assigned region. That means Fashola as a Governor should have overseen the logistics of our Police force and ensured they are enough to tackle scenarios like these ones. It just exposes him as a poor Leader and gives more power to Criminals who will obviously think they can always get away with their crimes and plan more evil.

I am sick of the Political screams of APC all over the place, declaring they must win or its a do or die affair. Whichever way, both candidates are just useless.

    • Oluwaseun

      March 14, 2015 at 5:46 pm

Cece, your comparism of Nigerian police to USA police shows how uninformed you are. 1st of all Nigerian Police Force is the responsibility of the federal government of Nigeria. The federal executive appoints and is in charge of the overall activities of Nigerian Police Force.

USA on the other hand have state police overseen by the jurisdiction of each state. I hope you get that.

So if GEJ is in charge of the Nigerian Police Force, how do you expect BRF to oversee the logistics of the NCF? When did he become the Commissioner or IG of Police?

    • Bazooka

      March 15, 2015 at 7:48 am

Fashola is governor not the head of the police force of Lagos! I would like to believe that the Inspector general of police for the whole of Nigeria is the one that manages the logistics of his staff. Fashola can only request for policemen, GEJ’s head of security too would request for policemen to guard him when he is in Lagos and most likely his requests supersedes Fashola’s own.

Unfortunately for you, your lazy ass Omo oniles and baales have sold all the land to us in Lagos, we have built houses and businesses and we ain’t going nowhere. No matter what you say or do, you can’t bring down a winning team, we the ibos are the biggest private land owners in Abuja too. We are doctors, engineers, lawyers, mathematicians, teachers, business men, traders and cocaine pushers; yes we are everything and we are proud of it; and so is every other society. Everything was taken from us after the war yet we came back bigger and stronger and we will continue with our bad selves, if you find a working transformer in your neighborhood do us all a favor and hug it tightly.

Anyways, I agree, so many bad roads and Etc, please add Isolo and Ajao estate.

Agbaje, i really don’t care if this is a strategy or not, but what I admire most is your words, you didn’t blame anyone at all. I hope you win Lagos, because they are killing us here

its funny how i grew up in Agege, Lagos? what funny there? I will be reformed alaye? stupid talk. maybe u should google maplewood estate, agege, or go there to see the houses there and find how much the houses there cost, well, every country have thugs environment and thats doesnt mean, you are thug. Secondly, this is problem I am always having with non Yoruba, that you idiots will come to Lagos from your forest houses, will be living in the bad slum of Lagos and be claiming, you are super. If you guys have not come to Lagos, atlease Lagos will be so conducive and not over crowded. Not have mouth to condemn Fashola works, like he is working for you. Your opinions about Lagos is not needed.

    March 14, 2015 at 6:09 pm

Me I agree o GEJ is to blame! On a regular day there are police men guarding and patrolling the bridge area from the water shores under the bridge to both ends of the bridge and they are there every time, everyday in large numbers! On that day they weren’t as many as regular. So yes I believe Fashola’s statement. The police men that would have been guarding GEJ are not all in his convoy they would have been spread all over the route he was going to be taking throughout his stay in Lagos! His regular protection team cannot possibly be that large!

Nigerians are not stupid Mr Abati sit down somewhere and shut up!

On the other hand Kudos Jimi u beat Ambode in doing something very sensible!

  17. Cece

    March 14, 2015 at 7:58 pm

Oluwaseun, you must have seen double.

I clearly stated that the Government oversees the police force not GEJ. I really wonder if you were paying attention.

    Wonders shall never end

    • Sem

      March 15, 2015 at 12:03 am

You are truly a dull individual. Who heads the government you’re referring to is it not GEJ. And like Dapo said the responsibility of the Nigerian Police Force is squarely on the shoulders of the Federal Government headed by GEJ. It covers appointments, retirements, sackings, transfers and even accountability. State governments have no control over any police formation or division even the DPOS of police stations are not answerable to the state government or the governor. So yes I agree with Fashola it is the fault of GEJ and the Federal Government if Lagos does not have sufficient police officers to prevent this kind of mess.

Who came from the forest? You and a thousand others like you are the issues in this country. Lagos became what it is today from the oil that came from the Niger Delta. So please stop talking crap. I do not blame you I blame our previous leaders and founding fathers who fanned the flames of tribalism. Lagos does not belong to anyone and in a true Federalism every Nigerian should and legitimately live work in any part of this country irrespective of where they come from. That we have people who share the same sentiments is appalling and shameful and you are advocating for them being removed. If only you knew how much the group you are so quick to insult and dismiss contribute in revenue to this state you will be silent. It is ok to collect their tax but they are not good enough because they are not Yorubas. I can’t even believe you just said that. It’s never too late though you can still be saved from your hate and bile for non Yorubas.

    March 15, 2015 at 3:39 pm

Good gesture by Jimi Agbaje but this does not make him a better candidate for the next Governor of Lagos State. I dont think he has visited all robbery sites that have recorded huge fatality like this in lagos since he started vying for the top job in Lagos. Come to think of it, there are incidents of terror like this in suburbs but no one seems to pay attention but when it happens in lekki, ikoyi, VI etc. it is all over the place. hmmmmmmmm………. this makes me remember George orwell’s animals farm. For fashola, his statement was quite misguided. However, there was no police checkpoint, resistant or backup except for the two guarding the Bank and the innocent ones that were escorting expatriates. What happened to the police checkpoint that is always present at the ikoyi/lekki bridge .May the soul of the departed rest in the bosom of the Lord. for your information i stay at Aboru, a suburb in Ipaja and i don’t think Jimi knows people exist here. # say no to elitism#
