Following Manny Pacquiao‘s disclosure that a potential reason for his loss against Floyd Mayweather was due to an injury to his right shoulder, he could face disciplinary action from Nevada boxing officials.
Wall Street Journal reports that Pacquiao could face a possible fine or suspension for failing to correctly answer a question on the pre-fight questionnaire, which asked if he had any injuries.
“Our job is to protect the health and safety of fighters and the integrity of the sport,” said Nevada Athletic Commission Chairman Francisco Aguilar. “We expect our fighters to be forthright.”
