BN, no tweets from Ben Bruce, Dino Melaye???
How did you miss Oby’s tweet? The one with the chart, Like Nigerian legislathieves earn the highest salaries. Are they wearing Agbadas and buba designed by Giorgio Armani and Oscar de la renta or what? Quite scary.
Please Baba has to look into this. I know he ought not interfere but this is outrageous and as a fact a matter of national growth.

Even I will not blame Buhari for this. The man is a sitting duck. There isn’t much he can do. In short, he can do nada. These vultures will give him hell if he tries to intervene. APC/ PDP are all the same. Which is why l laugh when some novices here talk about how bad the PDP was. Well, it would be nice if all the APC Reps and Senators reject these horrendous allowances. After all, APC = Change.

Buhari was voted in on sentiments just like Jonathan. Both have no political backbone/structure of their own. Jonathan was handicapped, he tried to please the investors on whose money he rode to the Presidency. Buhari, in his greed/desperation, just fell into the same trap. Nigerians are the losers. Buhari will know when investors start demanding ROI. In short they hv which is why he is unable to name a cabinet as at yet.

Like l keep saying, the one to save this country is yet to come. Certainly not Buhari.

      Where da brooms at?

Walahi, may thunder fire NASS… I’m pissed off that these thieves are shameless and very inconsiderate. Clothing allowance my foot, sounds like the FGN is running a welfare program for NASS… Kia, this is just getting me worked up at how wasteful the FGN is.

This is utterly ridiculous. (Baba nla nonesence). All our legislators should be on salaries without all Other rubbish associated with it. Wardrobe allowance, furniture allowance and every other allowances should be a thing of the past period . Every Nigerian politician aught to know that we simply can not afford all that spendings right now. Nigeria needs all that monies to prosecute projects such as electricity, water, roads, pay Doctors, teachers, lecturers, police men and women salaries. use part of this monies to create jobs to help combat unemployment in the country. It’s time, every Nigerians should wake up from our respective slumbers to stop all this robbers who parade themselves as politicians from robbing our beloved country Nigeria blind. My opinion, Nigeria needs political cleansing (Ghana style) inorder to stop all these greedy (politicians) people from killing Nigeria financially period. The more you know. A word is enough for the wise. I’ m just saying

Why won’t thieves and hooligans kill to get into politics? If we are really, really serious, we need to get rid of all excesses, so that only genuine people with mother theresa traits and a purpose to serve would be in politics.

Nna biko, Ben Bruce come on twitter and tell us how you rejected the money. Next is breathing allowance…Ole ni gbogbo yin!

On a more serious note, this is too outrageous…we need to do more than rant online. This should not be happening in Nigeria 2015, in the year of our Lord “chanji”.

Why should they look? The earlier you see this is a bipartisan problem involving both APC and PDP lawmakers the better for you.
And for the record: Buhari isn’t part of this so mbok don’t separately drag Buharists. We are fighting this as Nigerians.

Exactly how does a public servant’s dress sense benefit The People?? The sad thing is: such obscene amounts of money haven’t/won’t be injected into the Nigerian economy….lost!

Please if they pass this bill, let us recall them. I hope you all know we can recall a legislator we’re not happy with??

The President can’t do anything about them, only we the people. But who am I kidding, we’ll complain on twitter and ask God to punish them and they’ll still take the wardrobe allowance.

To put it into proper perspective 9billion/496= 18,145,161.2903 or 18m per legislator. $91,250.56 per, 58308.93 pounds per.

If one man can use his money to initiate a project that will give 600 million people electricity ! It makes me wonder what this so called FG has been doing , now I know it is used for ward drone allowance ,mtchewww what a disgrace !!!

Just imagine !!! Parents of Boko haram victims , unemployed youth , the hungry , the people that live on less that 2 dollars a day , the ones that use a keg of water for a family of 6 , the bike riders , schools without roofs , the children that hawk for 10 hours a day in the sun, just imagine what 9 billion could do for them , than just to be shared among about 300 thieves called the so called(NASS). sometimes I wonder if those people fear God .

It’s crazy medical doctors receive 5thousand for work harzad while they get exposed to all forms of disease treating people and NASS gets 9B for cloth allowance, now I know why Nigeria is backward we really lack good leaders and everyone blame the faliurs of the country on the president alone. Daris Godooo

I read somewhere a suggestion that they get uniforms. Like NYSC / corpers. To serve their country. I know this can easily be arranged, larger sizes of course, but still will shave 99% off the cost.

This allowances are not new…they have always been there ! This is apart from their quarterly allowance of over 8m…quarterly ! I know this because i served as an accounts officer when i was in the bank to some NASS members….its not like it even solves their their problems, they are perpetually on overdraft of 5m and other forms of loans. There is nothing Buhari can do about , its RMFAC that sets the salary…Dear Nigerians…wardrobe allowance is the least if their allowances….furniture, vehicle, vehicle maintenance, hardship lmao etc…..

Sigh this has got to stop …a revolution is brewing and it would not be televised !

My people do not want the military. At least we know they are mean. These wolves in sheep’s clothing will sing change to you. That they understand your plight. Yet busy killing you. Did I not say there is no difference between pdp and apc.? I’m just so glad I did not vote. At least no guilty conscience. You have more Apc than Pdp at the national assembly. If they decide to cut all these nonsense allowance, surely they will win with majority votes. But will they do it? Busy singing change. I’m just hungry.
