Must Listen! Korede Bello Features Asa on ‘Somebody Great’

Korede Bello

It’s not everyday that Asa gets featured on a song and for a newcomer like Korede Bello to achieve that, it is kinda-sorta a big deal.

The Mavin Records artist has released a new single called ‘Somebody Great‘ which was produced by Don Jazzy.

The song also has Asa on and we are super excited to get some new material from her – even if it is a feature.

Listen to the song below and let us know your thoughts!

Nice track, tremendous auto tune assault though…it seems Mavin be embracing auto tune of late. Reiterating it being a nice track though.

Thank God! Its a breath of fresh air, amazing song. Looks like we now write and compose songs, not the usual noise. Korede sure wants to be around for a while, and got good advisers too.

The auto tune thing is too much. it’s melodious… but korede’s voice was a little bit off sync with the beats. too much radio work. Korede n Asa have good enough voice for too much manipulation. unnecessary.

Has the potential to be a great song if not that the vocals are heavily laced with auto tune. I simply do not see the need. Meanwhile I noticed Asa’s part wasn’t as heavily auto tuned as Korede’s. Nice try.

The music is not bad but auto tune too much. Give me OBEY, KWAM1 and our proper indigenous songs anyday. Each to their own though. Most of the new songs and artists are beginning to sound the same to me and I’m few months to my 40th.

Korede Bello can think big sha. I love to be around positive people. I love the song. DOn Jazzy pls rework it and manualized the auto tune. This song has staying power. #Something different from the usual Naija pangolo.

I’m so loving this song. Some folks may opine that the autotune effect is a little too much, but I don’t think it diminishes the quality of the song though. Meaningful lyrics (with a little humour at the beginning). Way to go SMD!
