The Butcher and The Bridge: A Tale of Love, Hope & Triumph in War | Showing at the Muson Center on October 3rd & 4th

A young couple – full of faith and devotion – have worked hard to get to where they are in life. By overcoming many of life’s challenges, they have successfully built a comfortable home together, happy and in love. Their dreams and ambitions are now finally around the corner….until fate rips them away from their comfort zone and throws them head-first into a dangerous, war torn region. Their happiness and joy is tested beyond their wildest imagination in the face of these new and horrific fears. What will become of them? How deeply rooted is their commitment to each other and their convictions. Will the depth of their love cover all the pain and sufferings?

The Butcher and the Bridge is a heartfelt and inspiring tale of love, faith, fate and triumph in time of troubles and war. A powerful story of faith versus fear, this epic musical will take you on an emotional journey, while shedding a spotlight on supporting displaced victims of violent crimes. It will draw tears from your eyes, make you laugh at moments of joy, smile at moments of hope, draw you into a circle of deep and inspiring dance and leave you breathlessly gasping for more!

This powerful tale is spun through electrifying singing, fire dancing and awe inspiring acting presented by 150 performers made up of Spirit of David dancers, renowned singers and established actors drawn from over nine cities around the country! This incredible story will be played out on the historic stage of the Shell Hall, Muson Center.

On October 3rd,showtimes are 3 PM and 6 PM | Tickets cost: N5, 000, N10, 000 and N20, 000 (front row)
On October 4th  the first show starts at 3 PM and is also N5, 000 N10, 000 and N20, 000. The evening show that starts at 7 PM is a command performance for corporates and those who wish to network and enjoy mock tails and hors d’oeurves. Tickets for the Command Performance are set at N15, 000, N25, 000 and N35, 000 and are also available to corporates and groups in special blocks of 10 seats.
