Today, we have a special Throwback edition! As we gear up for the highly anticipated Heineken Lagos Fashion & Design Week 2015, how about we take a peek at last year’s fabulous event.

We will be taking a stroll back in time to the 3rd day of the GTBank Lagos Fashion & Design Week 2014 and checking out their red carpet. There we’ll find interior architect, writer and face of Diesel – Isio Wanogho in Nigerian womenswear label, Ayo Van Elmar.

Womenswear brand, Ayo Van Elmar is co-owned by designer, Ayo Elizabeth Olaogun & Elmar Drabek. Launched in May 2011, the fashion brand prides itself in its offerings of Afro-European fusion fashion inspired by the creative director’s cross-cultural experiences.

Flashback to last year’s LFDW where the red carpet was filled with fashionable divas and stylish gents. Isio Wanogho rocked an Ayo Van Elmar piece on day 3 of the event and looked bold and beautiful. The piece from the brand’s Spring/Summer 2015 collection is definitely one of our faves – who can say no to colourful prints?!
