The 2015 edition of the British Council Fashion Focus kicked off on Wednesday at Day 1 of Heineken Lagos Fashion & Design Week 2015, with the first batch of 4 showcasing their talent to a room filled with fashion gurus, editors, photographers and more.
Showcasing their 2016 collections on Day 4 were fashion brands – House of Kaya, Conae Insignia, Belois and Johnson Johnson.
Check out what went down the runway.
House of Kaya
The House of Kaya collection was a nice change on the runway as the brand showcased stylish pieces ideal for a more modest crowd.
There were hijabs and gorgeous flowing gowns with intricate embroidery.

Conae Insignia showcased her ‘Ageless’ Spring/Summer 2016 collection at the Heineken Lagos Fashion & Design Week.
The fashion focus finalist showcased a collection that was unconventional, unique & all made with traditional fabric.
There were cut-outs, fringed hemlines, plunging necklines and capes in the collection.

Fashion Protégé winner, Omon Oisetohanmen of Belois Couture made us fall in love with cut-outs as she debuted her Spring/Summer 2016 collection.
The fringe detail was big on the runway this year and the Belois fashion brand was another label that embraced the trend.
Check out 5 pieces we loved from the collection.
Johnson & Johnson
The Johnson & Johnson collection was extra dapper and we love the fact that he played with a lot of prints.
It was an unconventional collection for men but we are certain that some fashionistos can pull it off effortlessly.
