The Abia State governorship election petition tribunal sitting in Umuahia has upheld the victory of Governor Okezie Ikpeazu in the April 2015 elections.

In a ruling delivered on Tuesday, the tribunal dismissed the petition of former APGA governorship candidate, Alex Otti, Daily Post reports.

Otti had sought the nullification of the election of Ikpeazu on the grounds that the election was marred by irregularities and malpractice.

Really? So the Abia state election tribunal sat in umuahia because the case was filed by the APGA candidate, but we have that of Rivers, Akwa Ibom, Taraba (and more to come) where APC have vested interests sitting in Abuja. APC is really rubbishing our judiciary, and all the reforms GEJ did in INEC have been swept away with APC fraudulent and corruption stricken brooms; INEC is now an APC tool to do their bidding. I bet if APC came 2nd in Abia’s gubernatorial poll, this tribunal would sit in Abuja and the judgement decided in APC’s favour. Nigeria, I welcome you all to the ONE CHANCE change!
