none of them stand a chance..

All of them have “bad hair day”. Dusty weaves/wigs. It’s sad, it’s only one that is wearing natural hairstyle, zero is wearing their real hair. Agbani darego won wearing a simple hairstyle, such a gorgeous face
Other contestants wearing extension, at least it’s close to their hair texture.

Show Africa it’s real beauty. South Sudan is beautiful. South Africa is cute, looks like e typical girls with nice weave.
Sigh Tired of seeing white beauty standard beauty all over.

what is the big deal about natural hairstyle nowadays – people go on about natural hairstyle but still add hair extension to the plait. doesn’t matter if its natural hairstyle or not as long as it suits them.

Please all of them except South Africa look like my maids. No no, better to go without make up and weave than to go with this bend down select look. What a shame, failed. After university in Toronto am coming to compete, bring the glory back.

    • Vanessa

      December 7, 2015 at 8:18 pm

It’s a pageant! None of them is wearing their natural hair, not even the white and Asian contestants. At least that is the only thing fake about our African girls, same cannot be said for their Latina counterparts.

South Sudan is the one that will go far, and will win continental queen of Africa, mark my words! She has the potential to do well in the top model part of the competition. These pictures don’t do these girls justice. Cote d’ivoire looks way more beautiful in her Instagram snaps. And bellanaija, where is Miss Tunisia’s picture? If you can post a white Namibian’s pic as African queen, is it the Arab one that is not African queen?

  20. Gorgeous

    December 7, 2015 at 9:34 pm

    not bad

  24. The BeezNeez

    December 8, 2015 at 1:16 am

Ok. I have concluded that either their make up artist in China didn’t have the right shade or the photographer didn’t know what light to use on them, because they all look ‘dusty’. IJS
Or maybe this was a ‘natural’ shoot?

I’m running out of reasons for why they’re all looking like Casper…

    Any suggestions?

    • Tkum

      December 8, 2015 at 11:26 am

For Christ sake where the hell did they bring all these ugly girls from?! Even the so called miss Nigeria! like seriously? As in the whole of Naija with beautiful girls everywhere, it’s now that monkey they brought out?! Every day I walk on the streets and see angels in human form, I keep wondering why they are not contesting for all these beauty pageants, leaving the space for ugly girls to come showcase themselves! I am just so disappointed in these girls that were chosen.
