Fantastic paintings! Though I thought Chris Brown was wearing a native yoruba outfit rather than a Ghanaian one.

Yes dear. Ghanaians love to claim Nigeria. Nothing new. I remember watching this YouTube Ghanaian/ Nigerian traditional wedding done in Nigeria as bride was Nigerian, with Rochas Okorocha and Wife, Nollywood actresses , senators and even umu Ada igbo in their uniforms, yet Ghanaians were claiming how beautiful their culture was and how the attendees were Ghanaians.
Give credit to whom it belongs to that’s all.

In my opinion, the “boubou/agbada” deal has its origin in the arab nations. It was brought over to west africa by a senegalese and it gained popularity in both nigeria and ghana.

Excellent work. Jay z and rick Ross is on point, they actually look Igbo especially rosey. A lot of African Americans, Caribbean trace their roots back to the Eastern part of Nigeria, where most of the slavetrade took place. Diddy is rocking Ghana well. Drake can pass for a northerner.

Nice one, for Drake, please is abdul Salam an African name?
Abdul Salam is the name of your Arab slave masters, it was passed down to you all like your other religious names; Ogundipe is better.

Awesome! I.’m glad someone else thinks Rick Ross looks Igbo, more like the late Oliver De Coque. In fact, I felt the P Square collaboration with him would have been better exploring such traditional sides visually….
