Prince Odi Okojie Edo State 3
Mercy Johnson‘s husband Prince Odi Okojie is attempting to secure the Deputy Governor nomination for PDP in Edo State.

The businessman turned politician has been spotted at various PDP events in Edo and his supporters have been singing his praises on social media over the last few weeks.

Here is what one of his supporters had to say this week;

He is not arrogant or quick-tempered or a drunkard or violent or greedy for gain, but hospitable, a lover of youths, women and men, self-controlled, upright, holy, and disciplined….

When a man’s ways please the Lord, he makes even his enemies to be at peace with him.

his ways has please the youths also this is the reason the youths are saying ‪#‎WE‬ ‪#‎NEED‬ ‪#‎HIM‬ ‪#‎TO‬ ‪#‎REPRESENT‬ ‪#‎OUR‬ ‪#‎INTEREST‬…
‪#‎NA‬ ‪#‎EM‬ ‪#‎BE‬ ‪#‎THIS‬

      @ glow, that was all my eagle eyes saw on the first poster. Maybe they thought the wife was running for office too and they wanted to spell “GovernorESS” ??. They could have at least edited before printing or he should have refused the poster. Mediocrity!

      I was about saying the same thing. Deputy Governor’s never campaign. Governor’s campaign and choose their running mates. Some people are outrageously weird.

      Maybe it’s an internal campaign within the party? I dunno maybe he is trying to vy for votes among Edo PDP stakeholders. Nonetheless quite strange.

    Good for him, if he qualifies!
    As long as the election is free and fair and the people are allowed to choose their leaders.

    Fellow Nigerians, there’s no such thing as a wrong party! Please vote for individuals and not their political party.
    Research/ study whoever that is striving to lead you and determine if they truly have what it takes.
    Never vote for any one because of the party they are registered in.

    When the position of deputy requires a campaign, you know that something aint right. Should you not be the right hand man of the prime? In which case your position description is one of delegated authority as the boss deems fit? GIven that scenario, what exactly are you offering the peeps of edo state in your campaign since your tenure will be determined by the governor? Good luck.

    The things people say about u can’t change ur destiny. Mercy Johnson dat a lot of pple thought will end up useless bcos of her roles in movies is now living a good life that so many so called good girls r still dreaming of likewise kim kardashian. *Sigh* This life! Prince Odi Okojie I will only support u when you’re d ELIGIBLE one for the position bcos I’m tired of clueless leaders ruling Nigeria. When u don’t know the source of a problem how can you solve them? Nigeria problem is bigger than suit n tie or agbada…If Barrack Obama was clueless, he wouldn’t have been able to rule America or conquer Osama Bin Laden. People who did nt study political science in uni r ruling Nigeria (politicians) while those that studied political science in uni r jobless then what’s the essence of studying political science in uni?

    @reedkit till infinity you don’t study politics to become a politician mistake number 1 you study it to have a grasp of your country or a global political perspective that’s why politics isn’t a profession it’s a calling just like you don’t study enterprise to become a entrepreneur many technocrats can be politicians it isn’t just mean for students who study politics just like if you study law doesn’t automatically qualify you to be a lawyer
