Olympic presents N1.5m prize to winners of Five-a-side Tournament

Nutritional brand, Olympic has lived up to its promise to support De Royal FC, winners of the recently concluded grand finale of the Olympic 5-a-side tournament.

The excited players led by their coach, Ibuga alongside the organizers of the tournament, Bayo Akande and Fred Agbi of Five Sports were warmly received by the MD, Nutricima, Weber Eelco who presented them with a cheque of N1.5million. Also present at the cheque presentation were the Category Marketing Manager, Olympic, Raphael Agbaje, Olympic Brand Manager, Bamise Oyegbami and Marketing Services Manager, F&N, Funsho Jacobs.

Aside the cash prize to the winning team, the Brand Manager also confirmed that plans are underway to take the tournament’s ‘Most Valuable Player’, Kabiru Nasiru and one lucky fan on an all expense paid trip to Etihad Stadium to watch a Manchester City home game.

The winning team will now proceed to represent Nigeria at the World Cup competition holding in Thailand next month.
