In a forgotten and abandoned bayou community right by the beautiful city downtown of Accra; lies the story of Refugees, a heart-on-sleeve tale of life. A provocative mind, through the visceral story of race, squalor and music told through the life of three friends whose dream is to escape their bleak world and break the chains of poverty that has plagued their community, with their gift of Afro-vibe – African music that defines Africa. In their desperation to repair the structure of their world, they must learn to survive the unstoppable catastrophes as they embark on a perilous stowaway journey by sea; a dangerous trip that begins in their homeland in Africa with hopes to make it to the shores of America.

nice trailer, but for yvonne love interest to have been believed for the racial undertone they should have casted a white guy, not a mixed raced or black guy. It makes no sense.

there might be a possible reason why he is not fully white as per the storyline. lets wait and see after watching before rushing with assumptions

Hahaha so this movie finally came out? This guy is a crook! I remember when he went to Atlanta and charged everyone $30 per person for the audition! He ended up not using anyone from the audition, but went from city to city collecting money for audition. In the US, some people started talking about him on Facebook, calling him out, saying he should go back to Nigeria with his 419 antics. Smh.

that is a BIG lie he did not and has never collected money for auditions . i happened to have been at the said audition if u were asked to pay then someone else defrauded you not him. different individuals were asked to do auditions for the caucasian characters which as you can see from the promo were used..AND AUDITIONS TOOK PLACE ONLY IN ATLANTA AND NOT CITY TO CITY. GET YOUR FACTS IN ORDER.
Did he stand in front of you guys and asked for payments for auditions? wow i was there and played extra so stop lying. so wow with all the movies he has shot have u ever seen him do auditions and asked for payment or did someone misrepresent him.get it together
