The HealthZone presents a Health Care Roundtable in Commemoration of World Malaria Day | April 25th

The HealthZone, Africa’s pre-eminent television health show, and St. Nicholas Hospital, Lagos will be co-hosting a Healthcare Roundtable to commemorate the World Malaria Day on Monday, April 25th.

Titled “Malaria – Are we winning the war?”, panelists include Dr. Jide Idris, Honorable Commissioner for Health, Lagos State, Dr. Chikwe Ihekweazu, Executive Director, Nigeria Health Watch, Dr. Muntaqa Umar-Sadiq, Private Sector Health Alliance of Nigeria, Dr. Orode Doherty, Country Director Nigeria, Africare, and Dr. Ebun Bamgboye, Clinical Director, St. Nicholas Hospital.

The panel will review Nigeria’s score card in the battle against a disease that continues to devastate the continent. Highlighting successful strategies in malaria eradication, prevention and case management, the panel will also discuss the way forward to zero malaria cases.
