Lol @ is your phone not dual sim. Romance has nothing to do with tribe. It just depends on the individual.

Looks like you are implying that all Yoruba men are one. I beg to disagree! Yes we get painted with the same brush, but God the creator has created each human being with unique characters, traits, values and attitude to boot. As such, until you have married/dated/met all Yoruba men in the world, please try not to generalize …I am a Yoruba man and my wife-to-be won’t feel sorry marrying me.

Yoruba guys don suffer!!! Abeggi o! I’m married to a yoruba man and everyday together has been a blessing. At the end of the day shine your eyes very well, pray and listen to good counsel before you marry. To defend my yoruba brothers, most of the guys who murdered their wives in yankee last year were from the eastern part of naija.

But this is about most romantic not murder. Comprehension is key. Most of the murders Reported in the last couple of weeks have been Yoruba brothers. Evil knows no tribe or gender. It’s everywhere. Let’s focus on if Yoruba brothers are romantic. Yes. They can spin your head with words. When it comes to marriage and in-law matter, fear God and enter prayer and fasting

Duh!. There is nothing romantic about murder and a guy killing his wife is obviously as far away from romance as you can get. My goodness!!! Tribe obviously has nothing yo do with romance. I was even joking earlier but yall actually believe this whole tribe and romance ish?? I can’t with the way some nigerians think sha. You can just open mouth to group the behavior of a whole group of people based on the few you have interacated with?

      @Marian

Generally majority of the Nigerians living in the US are from the Eastern part of Nigeria (just like the UK is filled with majority of Yorubas). And therefore:

Majority of the Nigerian academic excellence in the US is from the Eastern part.
Majority of the Nigerian drug related cases in the US are from the Eastenr part
Majority of the Nigerian corporate high flyers in the US are from the Eastern part
Majority of the Nigerian domestic violence /wife murder cases are from the Eastern part

The demographics just work that way. Think abourrit and see me in my office later.

But why do people get defensive when Yorubas fire back. If any negative thing is said about any tribe especially Igbos, they are ready to cut your head off but Yorubas are supposed to remain quiet. Double standards.
Although, there’s no correlation between romance and murder but it’s already a topic. The statistic of murder cases among Nigerians in the U.S specifically husbands killing their wives, it’s been Igbo and south south men. This is not to say there are no cases of Yoruba men committing the same crime but there’s a higher percentage among other tribes.

Yoruba men are romantic(express their love, show it) good with words and fun but big time womanizers. They play their game so smoothly, manipulative and mess with your mind that their womanizing ways becomes acceptable. A Yoruba man will love different women the same. Each will feel special. Which to me is not romance at all.

Most Igbo men are not romantic(showy with their affection) but they seem more sincere. You know exactly what you are dealing with, the good and bad. No pretense.

It was NOT last year. You are renewing stale gist. What about the ones who have been murdering their wives in Nigeria nah? Taking into consideration of the news reported on Bellanaija and Linda Ikeji and SDK and Punch newspaper. They are heavily concentrated in some parts in the South West. But the question is not about MURDER, it is ARE THEY THE MOST ROMANTIC? Not ARE THEY LESS MURDEROUS??

I believe Igbo men are more romantic! In my world, there is no romance without money. Yoruba guys are very stingy with money and that is a turn off for me.

Igbo men are more romantic. Romance has to be honest and genuine and there’s a reason why Yoruba men aren tagged demons.

    • Laparole.

      September 10, 2016 at 11:19 pm

Yoruba men are NOT “”tagged demons””. I don’t care what social one individual writes and then social media picks it up, it doesn’t matter if 100 billion people say it, Almighty God the Creator of all creation and all races, tribes and ethnicities has not “”tagged”” and named the entire Yoruba tribe as “”demons””. HE knows what demons are, and they were around long before the Yoruba or any other tribes/human beings. These are specific creatures and they have a very specific, non-negotiable judgment already passed on them by the Almighty God; they have a very specific and terrible place created just for them and satan (initially) to spend all of eternity. You can say things and call people names and write articles/blogs/comments just to attract traffic and/or to cause a sensation and gain yourself five minutes of notoriety but as you laugh, mock and throw words carelessly around, please, be aware that everything we do and say has consequences, for good or evil. And, words have POWER. Let each individual answer for his own sin. Yoruba men are NOT demons.

All black men are not criminals.
All black women are not whores.
All fat people are not unintelligent .
      Yoruba demons
      Black monkeys
      f—king niggers

Yorobas are mixed with arab and igbo, from the arab they get their polliteness, articulation, oral craftmenship, (Upto this point African woman knows of no resistance than can work, but she gonna front still….:) suave-mente swag to the fullest also works for the yorobas, they also are exceptional scavangers for women hearts and gold, but dont and have never meant a single word they’v ever said to a woman! To an African woman a yorob is basically a pollite igbo men, good with money to a point, strong, but open enough to know the texture of his heart! But their is something yorobas have working for them No other african men has, they r also very good at seemingly surrendering to a woman, which women can appreciate, the same way an arab burning his feet on the hot sand can still find courage to submitt to God, African women have never seen anything like that from their women so thats a chink in their armor – Then the igbo side of the yoroba comes out, when he takes the girl for she is worth including her shoe laces, leaves and bars all her phone calls (Thats true igbo right there!) this is why i call yorobas appropriately west Africans – while igbos are more appropriately bight or central africans! God bless!
