Philipines President, Rodrigo Duterte Regrets Using Cuss Words on President Obama

Philippines President, Rodrigo Duterte, is seriously soughing to defuse a row with the United States, voicing regret for calling President Barack Obama a “son of a b*tch”.

President Duterte, on Tuesday in Manila expressed remorse and regrets that his remarks to the press had caused much controversy.

He explained that the press reports that President Obama would ‘lecture’ him on extrajudicial killings led to his strong comments, which in turn elicited concern.

The comment prompted Washington to call off a bilateral meeting.

The tiff between the two allies overshadowed the opening of a summit of East and Southeast Asian nations in Vientiane, Laos.

Duterte also expressed his deep regard and affinity for President Obama and for the enduring partnership between the two nations.

Ben Rhodes, Obama’s Deputy National Security Adviser, said the focus on Duterte’s comments leading into the summit had not created a constructive environment for a bilateral meeting.

“All of the attention frankly was on those comments, and therefore not on the very substantive agenda that we have with the Philippines,” Rhodes said.

Meanwhile, officials from both countries said there would be no formal meeting rescheduled in Laos, but that a short conversation between the two presidents was possible.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) was established by the Federal Government of Nigeria in May 1976 to gather and distribute news on Nigeria and cover events of interest to Nigeria at the international level for the benefit of the Nigerian Media and the Public.

Have you guys thought about the fact that the past few years, every time we blink there is a new depraved uncontrolled freak added to the list of country presidents? I think we are reaching a critical mass of these loonies to have a world dominated by mad rulers. Trump will probably be added to the club since hillary’s greed is on the path to costing her an election that should have been a given. My question is this is so unusual. Is God painting a picture? Usually we have 1 or 2 villains. Now we have many.

This man is so crass, classless and undiplomatic. Calling Obama the son of a whore is regrettable. And to think that the big fool needs America to prevent China from annexing their territory in the South China sea, makes it the more annoying.

Lol! To use a Ghanaian perjorative “Kwasia!!!” But seriously, all this has made me understand that what the Good Boook means when it says that a wise man holds his tongue but a foolish man blurts out all (Proverbs 10:14). Look Obama has his faults & people have criticized him for much but one thing no one can deny is what a calm person he is. I doubt that any President of the US has been that insulted- called a Chimpanzee, people saying his wife is trans, people denying his heritage & saying he’s not American, heck I even watched a video of some female politician yelling at him & practically jabbing her finger into his eye. Still, he kept his cool. & here you are Mr. President of the Philippines, disgracing yourself & your country miserably by using words that no adult should speak in polite company. You couldn’t control your little tongue because of anger but you want to lead an entire nation of millions of people? Don’t say sorry o, be sorry for your own self!
