Unlock Greatness Today: Here’s How to Access God’s Ultimate Blessing #LiterallyWhatsHot

There is a common misconception that God’s blessings mostly come as the provision of material possessions. And, although I like the school of thought that believes blessings had best be cash, I’ve also sat through many sermons that say blessings can be otherwise. It can be wisdom like with Solomon, or strength like with Samson, or a million other things.

Before Rotimi Kaleb’s book, I had never really seen blessing(s) as intangible. They had to be something solid, something felt. Something largely (and directly) impactful to my life; I had no idea blessings could come in measures.

Kaleb’s book, The Blessing, God’s Plan for Mankind takes us through the ages and slowly highlights God’s plan for our lives. It teaches that there is The Blessing which is the ultimate gift from God to man. A broad view of this concept shows it as God’s mandate upon us to live above the curse of sin and death and all its resulting limitations. Finding a way to rise above this curse is the only way to truly harness all the blessings we rightfully deserve as children of God.

In Kaleb’s words: “It is God’s supernatural power for us to fulfill destiny!” What is our destiny? Our destiny is to bear fruit, multiply, replenish the earth, subdue the enemy and win over poverty, failure and other factors that threaten our progress.”

The root of The Blessing goes back to the story of Abraham where he decides to divide his property among his children. Genesis 25:5(NLT) reads: Abraham left everything he owned to his son Isaac.  Yet, in the next verse (26) we are told that he gave gifts to the sons of his concubines and sent them on their way.

It’s a bit contradictory, to be honest. And I have never been able to wrap my head around how there was something left to give others when Isaac had everything. However, Kaleb talks us through it by revealing that The Blessing is the totality of any and every gift. To the other sons, material gifts were given. But to Isaac, an everlasting gift was his lot. If you’re spiritual—whether Christian or from any other religion—you’d know how much the spiritual defines the physical. Spiritual blessings supersede whatever happens top side!

The book reveals that as Christians (and humans), The Blessing has been made available to us through Christ’s death on the cross. However, we need to hold certain keys to unlock and invigorate our spiritual man, the one part of us that can legitimately attain and retain this Blessing. Walking in righteousness is one key, another is having and accepting and understanding our identity as Christians.

We need to stay constantly seek God (and truth), dwell in love, honor God and remain connected to The Source through fellowship and personal spiritual advancement.

This book is a revelation available to anyone interested in understanding the extent of God’s love for his children. The Great Creator has given us all we could possibly need to redefine our lives and achieve destiny. Now, it’s left for us to glean the knowledge that opens these doors of greatness.
