Cynthia and Angel Studios is an Abuja based upscale womenswear brand that caters to the sartorial needs of today’s woman.

Cynthia and Angel Studio’s debut SS17 collection was inspired by everyday women. Women like all of us: The Weak and She strong; The Dependent and The Independent; The Powerful and The Powerless, because just like clothes, there’s no one type of a woman, and it’s these different women that inspired this collection. You people above my comment are wicked. ??? The hand movement reminds me of Michael Jackson’s Thriller . The model should have worn heels with the clothes especially the long dress and the jumpsuits so its stands appropriately. It looks kinda drab. Oh well, what do I know…

” Stylist and Creative Director: Richard Akuson for The PR Boy”

of cause na, our very own Richard akuson do the shoot. Richard pls stay away from fashion and anything creative. u are not creative. just because you are from a rich home that doesn’t mean u are edgy or creative or u should be in fashion. u don’t have taste. u don’t know jack about fashion or style or being artistic.

this shoot is a perfect example of a very basic person who is trying their hardest to be artistic.

I have no problem with the slippers.

I feel so sad for the model and the owner(s) of the fashion line. Richard akuson don mess una up.

When did bellanaija start publishing hateful comments like these? This has become a trend, Bruno NEVER has anything positive to say about Richard. And as far as I am concerned these clothes are beautiful. I can wear any of them. They found a balance between being artsy in the shoot and simplicity. It is clean and really well done. This is my first time of hearing about this designer but I will definitely ger stuff from the brand!

There’s nothing hateful about Bruno’s comment. He is only echoing what some of us here think of Richard.. The clothes are OK but the directing is poor. When you look at a model and her gestures become the centre of attention instead of the clothes she’s suppose to model, then the director failed in selling the clothes.
What are the other comments talking about?

This is a really clean lookbook. The dresses look amazing, the makeup looks really well done. The hair too and the model did well as well. Apparently Richard is well known, well, i’ll like to say that Richard did a good job directing the shoot and styling it to this standard. I can see pictures like these on Harpers and think they belong there. We should learn to be objective and keep away personal grudges.

You’re being sarcastic right? Or at least joking? Being kind to the designer? No? Ok.

..and I read this paragraph “The Weak and The strong; The Dependent and The Independent; The Powerful and The Powerless, because just like clothes, there’s no one type of a woman, and it’s these different women that inspired this collection.” …….I guess this inspired the model’s movements et all……. plus they gat so lovely collection!

This flip flop thing ain’t working at all. Not bring out the best of the outfits. Nice pieces. Model, hair and make up alright but art abi photo direction is just off.
