Asari Dokubo slams Diezani’s critics over rumours of $90bn Fraud | WATCH

In a recently released video former Niger Delta militant leader Asari Dokubo, slammed persons criticising ex petroleum minister Diezani Allison-Madueke over unconfirmed reports that she stole $90 billion.

Dokubo, referring to critics said: “if Diezani take our oil, na una own?”

He said if indeed she stole such an amount, then it should be proven.

He also accused president Buhari of stealing “2.8 billion” during his time as federal commissioner of petroleum resources, adding that the Okadigbo panel accused him of stealing N25 billion when he was at the helm of affairs at PTDF.

He also questioned the source of wealth late Senator Isiaka Adeleke, Babatunde Fashola, Bola Tinubu, and late Obafemi Awolowo.

This country aint getting better anytime soon. With the calibre and ilk of such creatures like this holding “relevant” positions

This country won’t get better either, if our leaders continue to loot our resources but only seek to make minorities scapegoat. He raised valid points, how did Obasanjo, Babangidda, Danjuma and co make the stupendous wealth they control. Judge all!

I remember a comment on Agbani’s marriage to Danjuma’s son. The comment was that of our niger-delta sister will chop our money. So you see, Asari is not alone on this. The mindset is that of the North has continued to take our oil, if our people can get hands on our oil, let them take.

This is not a tribal issue. Wrong is wrong. I understand minorities feel like Northerners, Yorubas steal and they don’t get much criticism the way Jonathan, Diezani non major tribes do. However, if Nigerians don’t practice calling wrong out then the country won’t move forward. People should stop being scared and call Buhari, evil northerners out too.

Honestly, I dont understand what they teach in Nigerian schools anymore. Most Nigerian youths especially Yorubas seem to have sent their God given brains on a long vacation. From being so enthusiastic about a Buhari Presidential candidacy to believing such a glaringly outrageous fallacy of a stolen 90 Billion USD, our people will fall for any lie thrown at them these days. To make matters worse, the world has never seen a lying government as this present Buhari’s government.

What do you expect when the professional liar aka Lie Mohammed is the minister for information. That guy learnt lying from the devil himself

    • ceejay

      July 29, 2017 at 5:09 pm

@ijebujesha….So its only Yorubas that voted him in, every government has one lie or the other, the predecessor have and so would the success. She might not steal up to the stipulated amount but she stole… Let’s focus on that rather than saying yoruba’s is on a long vacation. That is the shallowest comment ever.

Is it the exaggeration of the amount stolen or the fact that she STOLE money. This is one of the reason Nigeria has issues. Big money small money the woman STOLE !

What direction exactly is this country going? Speechless.
Minority or majority tribe, stealing is stealing and it is still the commonwealth of the country, money meant for you and I, that is being looted dry.

$90 billion – let that sink in for a moment. $90,000,000,000 x whatever the exchange rate is right now.

Yes, stealing is stealing. But can we call them ALL out. Not protecting and closing our mouths when it is a major tribe.

This right here is the reason I’m pro-secession, so I can hold my own people accountable, and not have to listen to one indigene of an erosion-ridden land slander my people. as though the stolen money is going to their pockets.

No body will ever steal $90 billion USD. That is not possible in the first instance. Jeff Bezos of Amazon has $87 billion USD and you think Diezani has $90 billion???? abeg take this N10 naira ?buy sense. APC men of lies at work.
She stepped on toes and she is a very arrogant woman but, I will not join APC mob gang to kill a probably innocent woman.
I keep asking where Alakija got her monies from. Once you mention her Wale vintage will go to bed. Did you see her son’s wedding expenses? Bola Shagaya etc
The country will not move forward with selective justice.

I think what’s ridiculous is that people believe Diezeani indeed stole $90 billion. Even abacha that looted treasury didn’t cart away $90 billion. Did diezeani steal? Heck yeah she did. Like the other psychophants . Did she steal $90 billion? Nah.

The hypocrisy is just too irritating. Listen to Radio continental 102.3 and listen to hatred spewed by the Kayode,Alaba Alape,Adewale,Sola, Dotun etc against Igbos and Niger Delta! This goes on daily yet when they mention Hausa you will here them say ask the rest of Nigerians the evidence the Hausa or Yorubas stole monies.
It’s tooooò obvious. Wait for Wale And his crew……

I don’t understand what personal benefit one gets from defending a politician simply because they are from your tribe. This country is on a very long thing at this rate. The Aluko guy who was diezani’s crony, do we see anyone defending him? Why is Ngozi Okonjo not being accused the same way Diezani is?

Let’s put sentiments aside please. When an article is about Alakija or Buhari then we can focus on that. People called out Babangida for his looting on the thread for his daughter’s wedding to the extent that BN had to lock comments. A thread about Diezani should be focused on Diezani, eod. Enough of this nonsense defense if we want to move forward in this country.

No be only apologist. If we ask you now whether you have access to good quality healthcare, education or security, I bet the answer is No, but you are here defending a thief. Please what does that make you? Smh. Captives defending their captors.

@ Ephi you don’t know what you are saying.Ngozi Okonjo that even a tush Yoruba friend of mine believed that she destroyed Nigeria? Are you new in Nigeria? Welcome ✔. The articles of Buhari,Alakija was published here but they got accolades and standing ovation by those praising the flowery wedding decor. Not a soul on BN criticised the open show of opulence from monies from Niger Delta. Ephi where were you. When Buharis came with their Louis vuitton bridal boxes the presidency refused the media access to pictures. The pictures we managed to see and criticise was in the minority. Bia Ephi trust me on this, the fight for corruption by the A PC goons is lopsided even on media.
      Just sit and learn.

I agree with you. However, the problem is you will never hear that IBB, Danjuma, OBJ, Abdulsalami and co is being investigated. Abacha too would have been a saint if not that he died. This accusation will never come up if GEJ picked one northern oga as minister for petroleum (and na dem loot pass). You forget too soon how they were accusing Okonjo-Iweala upandan last year.

I’m not saying looting is right. Remember that this is an allegation, not a conviction. I’m only saying we can never move forward for as long as there are sacred cows and others are scapegoats

My dear Nene+ trust me I am no APC fan because they are an equally useless bunch, but neither do I believe Diezani is innocent. Time will surely tell. All politicians should be condemned because they don’t have the interest of you or I in mind.

Asari unleashed. “Ifianfi” – Kalabari for chop shit Afonja. He said it. So funny. When will we spew the same venom about thievery on the yorubas who have been looting the treasury before everyone else? She did not do right awarding herself oil contracts but the oil comes from under her home and there is no merit-based approach for accessing this money if you are Niger Deltan. You are simply not welcome at the table. Sad but true. Let’s embrace the existence of bias and view issues through that lens.

I agree with you 100% Tracey.God owns the oil and also the massive land in the north!
The North kept their land for farming and brag about it but they also have arrested the oil in the south and our land for grazing of their cows.
Yet they unleash sharia and Boko Haram on the south!
Nigeria is one, but a southerner is safer in Abidjan than Maiduguri.
      That is one Nigeria ?
What is worth doing is worth doing well! !!
