No one has been able to achieve anything great without the help of people. Even to achieve your personal goals and dreams, you need people. All fingers are not equal, but that, is what makes a perfect hand.

There is no goal, activity, or aspiration, no matter how personal, that another individual is not needed. If not for anything, at least for accountability.

There is no company/business without employee(s), no kingdom without citizens, no family without people. You cannot do it well alone.

Inasmuch as you have to get personal when it comes to your goals, you must also understand that human resource, the right human resource, is the driver of any desired change.

Why else do you need people? – Human Capital.

Depending on how much deposit (value) you make in people’s lives, you may have enough human capital to actualise your goals. People assist or do business with who they like and trust. Be that person to the people that matter most in your life.

However, it has to be a mutual relationship. If you are always demanding, in little time, the other party will know that the relationship has moved from symbiosis to parasitism.

You have to be trustworthy. Learn to make little deposits in our trust account with others. When you make a promise, fulfill it, when you owe, pay as and when due, match your words and your actions, be faithful, be good and be loyal.

Trust is lacking in the society today and understandably so, as stories of betrayal and deceit (which have existed before) are coming to light particularly due to the ease in the spread of information, thanks Mark Zuckerberg social media.

Whatever you do, understand that you need a group to effect change, a group of people who believe in the change you are proposing, a group of people who understand what you want to do and why you want to do it, a group of people who are ready to achieve the goal.

You also do not need to waste your time on whoever does not want to be on your team. It doesn’t necessarily mean that they or you are bad, it just means that they do not want/need to be on your team.

There is a team for your goal. Get the people in it and build the team.
