Brand ambassadors for a startup, that has not generated any revenue. Good for them, but bad business model for people looking to learn how to run a business.

it might be a marketing ploy. He might not be paying them for this. They are also his friends, so you never know.

Lame ass concept!
Just to appear innovative and business savvy, everybody is now churning out ridiculous ideas…online laundry mart! Wrong time and wrong economy…hope your sh**t is sensibly affordable? even rich people are cutting off superfluity… just know your ‘resourcefulness’ is far from clever… achieve excellence before dishing out ambassadors… the small facility one rubbish bank gave you now is what you are using to pay this bunch of burnt out ‘hasbeens’ … this is why our banks keeping folding up; always funding childish wonderland wishes…no feasibility assessment, nothing…please strike off some names from this list e.g jelof

The time to set up online platforms is when the economy is down. Online platforms represent a cheaper way of doing business; If you think about it, those that really use dry cleaners don’t really want to go through Lagos traffic dropping and picking up laundry, when there is someone to do that for you at the same cost or cheaper; because it will afford some laundromats that you may not have heard of the opportunity to compete for business.
You must recognize that most online platforms that have made money did not set out knowing exactly how all the revenue will come in. but i am sure that one of his main goals would be to have as many people as possible download his app and that will in turn give it some sort of a window for advertisers and so on.
The picture is not always SO clear in the beginning, it is passion and a little luck that drives these things. So why not wish him luck, you just may need the same when you come up with your own big idea.

well, you have a point but it might not be “lame ass” like you say , maybe he needs to do some “modifications” to his concept like cutting down the list of His Ambassadors since he is Floating the Company for the first time .

This brand ambassador thing is being tossed around ever so loosely. Something that is yet to kick off and they are now promoting it. What they need are marketing officers who will be paid a commission for number of signups they bring in. Instead they get brand ambassadors! anyway if they gave me 500k, I would do it too! Money is hard ojare!

wow… you are so shallow. how am I sure you wouldn’t damage my stuffs if I let you move them.
And what’s up with some Nigerians and stupid comparisons… isn’t it possible to appreciate one person without downgrading another? if I post something about Omotola, somebody is going to drop a comment about Genevieve, if I talk of Toke makinwa someone would drop a comment about Matheba. Talk of Linda Ikeji… someone manages to find a way to insult her sister laura ikeji… it’s just crazy!!!
