Sweet Spot
BN Living: #APrincelyArrival! ? Esther’s Royalty Themed Baby Shower
BelAir House in West Dulwich, London was daintily decorated for yummy mummy Esther Junaid‘s ladies-only baby shower planned and organised by Mrs Wedding Planner. This celebration was attended by Esther’s sisters, cousins and friends.
Gorgeous Decor
The theme of the baby shower was A Princely Arrival. The decor featured a muted mint green, gold and white colour palette scheme; it was so rich and charming. A lot of candy, balloons, flowers were used to compliment the hall. The decorations, gift bags, welcome sign, and even the mum-to-be’s handheld clutch were all customised. There was also a customised Snapchat filter for the day.
Mummy’s Outfit
Esther is a fashion enthusiast so she enjoyed styling her look for the baby shower. Although she was in her third trimester, she rocked her baby bump with a dress by British designer Gbemi Okunlola AloNuko, with Aquazzura shoes. Her makeup was subtle and perfect for the occasion done by Edith Williams and hair was perfectly styled by Kirby at Platinum Tresses.
Scrumptious Meals
On arrival, the guests were treated to champagne and canapé but the main menu comprised of:
Starters:
Fried salt fish fritters with a mango and chilli salsa
Tomato, mozzarella and avocado salad with a balsamic glaze
Mains:
Jollof rice (a classic tomato based rice infused with herbs)
Nigerian fried rice (vegetable variety rice with prawns)
Stewed chicken (peppered chicken in a tomato based sauce)
Dessert:
Dark chocolate and coffee mousse
Fresh fruit jelly with ice cream
Game On!
The ladies participated in fun games including don’t say baby, Baby Bingo, Guess the size of the Bump, Drink the Baby Bottle Race and lots more.
The fab mummy looked like she had an amazing time and she said:
I was overwhelmed with how much love and excitement there was in expectation of our newest son. I’m most looking forward to witnessing how our family dynamics will adjust with our new arrival, especially how our eldest son will adjust to the role of a big brother.
Congratulations to Esther and her family!
