In an interview with Copa90, World Heavyweight boxing champion Anthony Joshua explained why he looks up to Real Madrid and Portugal’s football star Cristiano Ronaldo for inspiration.
Answering a question about the football club he supports, Joshua said “Real Madrid,” adding “yeah, Ronaldo, the don”.
“Right now I’m focused on being the best boxer and I get the inspiration from Ronaldo. It’s just little things. He would train by himself afterwards to work on what he wanted to work on. I was speaking to (Rio) Ferdinand who said he (Ronaldo) was the only one in the team back then who had masseuses, nutritionists, psychologists, so he had that desire,” Joshua added.
