“20 is for you,” Judge Lynn Toler begins as she gives this woman in the divorce court some advice after hearing her case.
Judge Toler sits over the divorce court, where she gives couples advice on personal growth and empowerment.
It is said that some of the best advice on marriage have come from the lips of Judge Toler.
In this episode, Judge Toler advises a woman who spent her 20s catering to a man.
“20 is for growth,” she said. “20 is for the pursuit of a tomorrow that’s better than today.”
She goes on to say: “20 is for enjoyment, it is not for continuous compromise. It is not a time to say this is the guy that I gotta make it with because this is the guy that I have, and no matter what compromises, no matter what I don’t like, no matter what he does, I have to put up with it.”

If you watch divorce court, you can’t help loving Judge Lynn. She says it as it is.
Love it! Totally accurate.
See some (not all) 23/24/25/26 year olds get married, get saddled with adult responsibilities and kids and leave a life of bitterness and regret. Some, not all, but the precious some need to listen and be better for tomorrow.
I agree with her…
