Belarusian Psychology Student Aleksandra Chichikova wins First Miss Wheelchair World Pageantry

Two physically challenged moms came together to start the Only One Foundation to direct attention to the matters of women with disability in society.

After four editions of Miss Poland Wheelchair competition, the organisation decided to go global, with the first Miss World Wheelchair competition.

Aleksandra Chichikova, a 23-year old psychology and social pedagogy student from Belarus, was the winner of the first edition which took place in in Warsaw, Poland on October 8, 2017.

The pageantry was organised in conjunction with the City of Warsaw and had representatives from 24 countries around the globe.
