Minister of Communications Adebayo Shittu and Sahara Reporters publisher Omoyele Sowore traded verbal blows in a radio interview over the weekend.

The two were invited as guests on Ibadan’s Fresh FM, where Sowore discussed his 2019 aspirations, and the minister countered him.

The two ended up trading words, Shittu calling Sowore a daydreamer who is “inconsequential.”

“I am consequential because you came to power on my back, on our backs, on the backs of young people who invested a lot of hope,” Sowore replied.

The opening was epic… A realization that you will wake up too in 2019… :)! The kinds of questions the presenter is asking though, eliciting laughter than the serious issues! I say no to the two of them in 2019 sef!

I used to like Sahara tv till they started spreading unverified info with salacious headlines and no substance in the news content.
It’s nice sha that he has such aspirations, younger people need to aspire to office and ruffle these old people’s feathers.
