Senator Elisha Ishaku Abbo has reacted to the viral video where he’s seen hitting a woman at an adult toy shop in Abuja

The lawmaker representing Adamawa North told Channels Television’s correspondent that he was called to the shop after his younger sister was “beaten to a pulp”.

He said it happened long before he became a senator. However, he did not give a clear response when asked if he was actually the one who hit the woman, saying he’ll release a “robust response” soon.

This response is just a testament of his arrogance, nonchalance, incompetence, unrepentance, misogyny and gross stupidity. There is no excuse for assaulting anyone, we do not need leaders who practice jungle justice and gutter behaviour. It is also obvious that he needs to fire every member of his team for this sorry attempt at damage control. #ARRESTELISHABBO???

And foolishness. The dangerous part is that he feels we all are just as foolish. Stressing continuously that this happened before he was a senator to save face on a global scale. I am ashamed that this person was “elected” into the house of senate. Then again we are in Nigeria was he really?

It won’t be better for his response! All these stupid men. Oniro! Before he became senator but it just so happened he was in Abuja surrounded by protocol when he should have been in Adamawa. Wait, what am I even saying? So darn what if it was before he became a senator? How does that even excuse the act? He’s a real moron. You assaulted and battered a woman! They beat his sister indeed hence his being there. Lies!!! First and foremost he can be heard in the video stating he knows the other cashier well and that she’s his friend. The cashier too can be heard saying she knows him and that he comes there all the time.
