The Salt Bae

Imagine wanting to cuddle but the love of your life won’t just take a shower. This was the case of Mercy and Ike after the dinner date with the stars. Mercy who was already in bed after taking a warm bath was not having it as Ike tried lying next to her.

After much persuasion, she brought in a bar of chocolates to trick ‘le boo’ into taking a bath. She even went as far as telling him to only wash his face and chest. Lazy Ike didn’t see any reason to jump into the shower even if he had just completed his night workout. “I’m not even sweating,” he said in his defence.

Mercy was defeated and gave up after convincing him to taste the sweat on his body and even tasting it too but he still wasn’t persuaded. They say love conquers all, even a hot bath.

It’s Story Time

As per tradition, Diane got into the mood of storytelling with the rest of the Housemates, just before she got cuddled up with her resident lover. As she told the stories in details, we couldn’t help but notice her interest in the movie industry. The way her eyes shone when she narrated and the way she was able to carry the others along, we definitely can’t wait to see the resident baby girl for life being featured in big movies. Right, Diane?

Oh, this tweep also found it interesting that Nollywood movies seem to be the bonding force between Diane and Tacha and even the VPH box fight has nothing on this bond.

Shoot That Shot!

We’ve noticed the tension between Cindy and Omashola, although, the tension seems to be one-sided.

Omashola narrated tonight’s ordeal to Cindy in the kitchen. According to him, he was admiring one of tonight’s stars – Osas Ighodalo until he found out that she is his friend’s wife. One could sense the embarrassment as he told Cindy but he quickly shook it off. Apparently, he told Osas of his relationship status and how very single he is.

Cindy listened attentively but not without saying, “There are single girls like us but you’re not seeing us oo”. Okay, girl, nice shot!

Tonight didn’t feature a fight in the House but it sure gave us a different side of the Pepper Dem Gang. Tacha and Diane bonding, Cindy not afraid to risk it all… what else are they willing to show us?

On A Mission To Blow Minds

The final Wager Task is in a bit and the Pepper Dem Gang have vowed to wow.

Maybe it’s because of how long they’ve spent together or the nature of the Task, the Housemates sure had fun preparing for tonight’s comedy show Wager Task. While amusing each other and occasionally erupting in laughter, the Pepper Dem Gang prepared for what they expect to be an eventful presentation.

Taking Turns

Turn by turn they took turns in assigning roles and telling jokes that they would tell this evening. The Gang reeled out some of their favourite jokes and deliberated on how best to deliver it. The fact that they might have guests and the Task being their last had them on their feet. “This is the last for the season, we have to make it worth it,” Tacha said. Diane was certain minds will be blown during her session with Biggie.

The Market Skit

If you’ve ever been to Yaba Market in Lagos Nigeria, you’d probably find this scene familiar. If not, we will describe it to you. Imagine a vibrant market where clothes are sold with young men eager to sell to you. So eager are they to sell to you that if you pause for a minute, they’d have you dressed right before you very eyes. From hurling clothing items at you to measuring you to make sure it’s the right fit, these sellers won’t stop till you patronize them. This was the scene Frodd, Seyi and Mercy recreated as they prepared for their comedy show.

The Spa Treat

Looks like when the Housemates start spending their Bet 9ja Coins, they can’t stop. Shortly after paying for a movie treat, Mike went on a spa treat alongside Frodd and Tacha. Nothing like a soothing spa session to calm the nerves. Mike has been Nominated for Eviction and he sure could do with the spa treat. Seyi is the HoH and uneasy lies the head that wears the crown. Surely the spa session made his head less uneasy. Frodd on his part had the difficult Task of wielding the Veto Power and that spa session had him feeling relieved.

With some of the Housemates fresh from the spa and the of the Gang well-rested, we expect nothing but a mindblowing performance like they promised.

Comedy Night Special

Wrapping up this season Thursday Wager Presentation, the Pepper Dem Gang gave us a night of laughter.

For putting up a rib-cracking performance at the Comedy Show, the Pepper Dem Gang have won their final Wager Task in the Big Brother Naija House. Working as one House, the Pepper Dem Gang delivered their best to Basketmouth, Ik Osakioduwa, Chigul, Buchi and to you too.

Show Of Talents

For people who were not comedians, it was quite entertaining seeing the Pepper Dem Gang bring their funny sides to the stage. With Omashola acting as MC, the Housemates set the show on the road and it was nothing short of what was expected, With Mike’s storytelling about the food hoarding in the House to Cindy, Elozonam and Mercy displaying their talent at a fake audition, it was a lit experience. One thing we know is that the Housemates can get into character when need be.

Let’s Shoot Our Shots

Remember it’s a six act challenge so, the Housemates Peppered us with more of their presentations. This time, it was between Ike and Tacha. As Ike was dropping them sweet lines to Tacha, the Housemates kept screaming “na dem” and when Ike was done, Tacha dusted her slippers and fled because those lines were too good to be true. The play took another turn as the female Housemates tried their mouths in the wooing game. Starting with Cindy and Mike to Diane and Elozonam, the females showed us that they took can play this game or could it be that have been wooed so many times that the lines flow fluently?

Frodd and Mercy recreated scenes from thrift markets and this act of theirs had the guests cracking up because they had all the details. This performance by Frodd made Basketmouth suspicious and he asked if Frodd once sold clothes.

Kudos And Corrections

Basketmouth, Chigul, Buchi and some of the cast of flatmates gave the Pepper Dem kudos for presenting a wonderful comedy show. One by one, the guests mentioned their favourite parts of their performances and what they could have done better. All in all, the Housemates were given thumbs up for their presentations.

Though comedy is not for everyone, the Pepper Dem Gang took what they had and presented a Wager that will be talked about for a long time.
