The Federal High Court has Dismissed the Bribery Case against Ganduje

A bribery suit against the Kano State Governor Umar Ganduje has been dismissed by the Federal High Court for lack of evidence.

Punch reports that the suit was filed by Kano-based lawyer Bulama Bukarti.

Bukarti had asked the High Court in Kano to mandate the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) to investigate Ganduje for allegedly receiving a kickback from a contractor.

Jaafar Jaafar, Editor-in-Chief of Daily Nigerian, had shared videos showing the governor receiving packets of money from unknown persons.
